Recorded message asking if I wanted to lower my credit card rate to 6%. Pressing one put me in touch with operator who said the company was Consumer Services. I asked what credit card this was in reference to and she said Visa and Master Card but didn't know what card I had but would need an account number to help me. Clearly phishing for info...

Heather from account services wants to lower our interest rates. She called our business line. Press 1, get nothing. Press 2 to be removed from further calls, get a busy signal. Call back, get a recording that the line has been disconnected. Why are there so many scammers in Florida, anyway? What are all those FCC fees I pay on my phone and cable doing for me? They're not stopping these types of companies and they're not keeping disgusting things (like ads for Herpes meds) off of after-school or prime-time television.

I received a call from this # today at 7:34pm pst, didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail. Must have been from my old cell # that forwards to this one. Pains in the ass, I did call back with a masked # and also got the 'this # has been disconnected' message, be interesting to see how often they pull this crap.

received a call from this number, seems like another telemarketer. i did not answer and of course they left no message. they called at 9:15pm est-
i thought they were not allowed to call after 9pm.? i did not bother to call back- not wasting long distance money on them. yeah, why do we pay all of those FCC fees for anyway!

Have gotten same call many times from different numbers - they keep morphing their number & ID. Creeps.

I got a call this morning - my caller ID said 850-271-8240 Lynn Haven, Fl. I only answered it beacuse my sister-in-law in Fl. is very ill and I thought perhaps it could be a nursing home or someone with information about her.  The girl identified herself as Heather and proceeded to say something about my credit card etc. so I just hung up.  I am on the govenors do not call list but I still somehow receive these type of unwanted calls.  I still continue to report them but they still keep coming.

Heather from Account Services with credit card deal of low interest rate.  Have pushed "2" asking to be removed from list, three or four times, this time pushed "1" and when asking to be removed from list, he hung up.  Reported call on FCC Web site.

I got several calls from this number, but I just let it ring 'cause I do not talk to callers I don't recognize.  They left no message, except once my machine picked up noise, voices and laughter.  Call came at 9:30 PM, which is when i usually go to bed.  Jerks!

Account Services (caller ID said "Lynn Haven, FL"), with "final offer" to "lower my interest rate on my credit card".  When I pressed 1, got "Michelle".  When I asked her what the company was that was calling and what their address was ("Why do you want to know that?"), she hung up.

I have gotten several calls from this number and from unknown number.  the recording states they are consumer services and want to help lowere credit card interest rates. I pressed 2 the first few times to be removed from the list but that didn't work, I have pushed 1 3 times now and when i ask for their number or address they hang up.

I saw this number on the Caller ID Manager when I got home today..Fortunately I have the Caller ID Manager programmed to block all the area codes that begin with 8....(yep, all of em).....This same company also use the 630 area code....(we have that blocked too)....

In the last month we've blocked about 70 unwanted calls and had ONE get thru...(they're starting to use 12 digit numbers...this one call started with a + plus sign)....(and now we've blocked that too)...

Just checkin up on who attempted to invade our privacy....Carry on...

Same crap as above (Heather etc.) in the recorded message except it wanted a button choice of 9 to speak to someone or 8 to be removed.  I hit 8 until it stopped repeating the recording over and over (3 times?) and it finally disconnected from their end.

I got home today and found a message on my answering machine which must have been from some sort of recorder I think.  The person said "This is Heather" from account services and something about lowering my interest rate.  However gave no bank name, company name, etc., so I figured bogus.  Yet I was curious so googled the number and found this site which confirmed my suspicions.  I have received calls from them twice before but it has been a while.  I agree with the others as it being annoying.  

I also am on the do not call list.  In case some do not know this, those lists expire at various times with the first lists sometime next year I think.  So beware of that.  I have heard of efforts to get the lists to have no expiration dates but do not know if anything has happened yet.

caller ID says Suzanna Smiley and informed me that my new car warranty was about to expire.

I called the  number &  was told it was diconnected & no longer in service,well hello how the sam hill are they able to call me then????

I  got the same call from this number on my caller ID today (8502718240) from Lynn Haven, Florida. I wasn't home and normally don't pick up on weird looking numbers. When I got back home, I decided to block my line and call this number just in case some of my relatives were trying to get a hold of me. The number was disconnected! What? I can't belief with all these efforts that the law enforcement put in to catch chicken heads like these, they are still out there harassing the country and their innocent residents!!!!!

There is!...go to privacycorp.com....If you're pissed off enough to whine on this board, then let go of a hundred bucks and these types of calls will never ring into your house again...
