Posting to 800notes will not put an end to unwanted calls. But you may want to consider a calling blocking device. There are plenty available and a little research might help you find one that fits your needs.

As has been said HUNDREDS of times before, we are not calling you. Furthermore, this site is not a conduit to the people calling you.  It consists of people like you who are likewise bothered by annoying phone calls.

The people who are calling you do not read this site and certainly don't respond to requests to stop calling you posted here. Moreover, even if they wanted to stop calling you, your post is anonymous, so no one would know what number not to dial, anyway. And no, we are not a phone company and cannot stop people from calling your number, nor are we a messaging service that automatically forwards your request to the number you are asking to stop calling you.

Additional, but preliminary data, currently being statistically analyzed:

Only 5% of the original posters return to acknowledge assistance
A much larger percentage of shills and trolls return to argue about their inappropriate posts
Many posters skip over pages of similar posts, just to tell us they too got a phone call, and ask how the caller can be stopped.
The phone number, "000-000-0000" is probably the most commented ... as if posters still do not recognize it is faked and can be ignored.
Apparently, a large number of posters think the DNC list is a system that actually intercepts and blocks calls to their phones.
