Caller states he is office Jake Dawson from Federal Trade Commission says I'm in trouble for something and I better call back. Who are these F-ing people.

I received a call on my cell saying that I need to callthem back because I am in trouble on a legal matter including my name and social I calcalled it back and he said that he is calling a police to pick me up.  For what when I have not done anything and he is in another state even. Who are these people

Says is officer Jake Dawson of the Federal Trade Commission and that I have 3 claims against me with my SSN and I need to call him back or I won't like what will happen. The [***] even called my work. He has a thick Indian type accent and isn't what he says. BS! Huge fraud! Reported to the real FTC

They are extortionists working out of India and Pakistan.

Several sources list this number as registered with Ymax, so it's a MagicJack number.

Jack Dawson called claiming I had allegations against me with my name and SS # and he would call police to pick me up if I didn't respond.

I received the same message today wth r these peoples thinking. I so wish they can be caught

Received a call, same as above, but now his name is Julian Marshall.  Tried calling the number back and it is a fast busy.

Just received the exact call.  Said his name was Julian Marshall.  A federal complaint is against me and they are picking me up if he doesn't receive a call back today.  

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

The people are relentless..but their script is so inaccurate and their English so bad that unless you're a complete moron it obvious it's a scam.  But there threats and bs are maddening and the fact that they're trying to extort money by using pure fear..pisses me off

Same call....they actually had the last 4 of my social....they said if I didn't take down the number they would arrest me and hung up.....

i received a call from this number say it was the federal trade commission.saying i would be charged with bank fraud due to a cash advance i never received.they were talking about charging me with several federal counts.i made contact with an attorney.

I received a call from  850-910-8028 Indian speaking guy saying the same thing.  They are a scam they get your info and try to get money from you and pocket it.  Office Peter from Trade Commission.
