Received an automated call from the number. Claiming that someone complained about me and if I don't respond further action will be taken against me. They give no details about the company, no name was given. I told them to take me off the call list and hung up.

May I ask why? Did this number also call you? I received an automated call from it as well.

I received the same message. I am concerned about how they got our phone #s. I hope they don't call again. It's probably a scam.

I got this call for the pass 3 days.. I called back.. The person on the other line said i owed a loan from 2011.. A cash pay loan.. And that my check bounce.. I called my old bank and found out i did not have any checks that bounce in 2011. And my old bank said by California law they could not sue me or take me to small claims court because its been over 4 years.. Im calling the BBB.. And filing with my county district attorney

Hello, I just got a call from these people today.  They said I applied for an online payday loan (had my correct hotmail email address from 15 years ago) and never paid it so this case against me is because I defrauded a bank and they were asking me to pay it back.  It was surprised they had the last 4 of my social and a 10 year old address but I never applied for an online payday loan. I asked if they could tell me who they were, what was this case etc...nothing.  They just wanted me to pay them so I said no, that this information was incorrect and hung up.

That's exactly the same thing they told me... 😡... Did they say what pay loan was it from.. They said it was compass but i have never heard of them ever. I think is a scam

Call the federal trades commission and filed a compliant.. 877-382-4357

Just received a call from this number, I let it go to vmail... Some man stated that a Formal complaint was filed against me... And paperwork would be filed against me...BLAH!!! I call this a SCAM!!

Thank you! I will call and file a complaint tomorrow.  I was so rattled because they had the last 4 of my social but they never gave specific's on who the loan was through.  They said I applied for an online loan (payday) online and never paid  and that  I committed bank fraud!

Just got a call from this number for my deceased mother n law claiming a complaint was filed on her however when the loan was supposedly done, she had already past over six years ago prior. I just hung up scam

Received an automated call stating they had a complaint against me.  I stayed on the phone can talked to someone who told me they were had a client who claimed that I received a payday loan six years ago and they then attempted to collect the loan and the bank account was reportedly closed.  First, I have NEVER received a payday loan so I knew this was not valid.  I held and spoke with the legal person who "recorded the call" stating that I was disputing the claim and any and all documentation should be sent to my home address.

Have been receiving these calls for the last 5 pays, same message as all the above. Funny thing is that they state on separate messages that both my brother and myself have complaints filed against us. What a joke, just as an FYI, the numbers they have called from are 855-201-2960 and 855-443-0494.

Debt scammers.  ID themselves as CFS.   No idea where they are located.

Yes, by all means let us suggest random debt collectors in the hopes that we can find the right one.  Or this might be an unregistered criminal outfit that will never be found through public domain web sites.

Debt scammers.  Call themselves "CFS".  Call from a lot of numbers.  Block and ignore the call.

I've called CFS numbers several times.  They will not tell you what CFS stands for and will not give you any information as to their location.  There's several debt collectors who have the CFS acrimony they use.  Hard to tell which is which.
