I got a call as well - who are these people?  Saying someone is filling a lawsuit against me for a fraud check back in 2012.  They knew information about me though and said I would have to go to court.  Anyone else getting these calls?

They said something about a payday loan, that I defaulted on. They are going to prosecute. UNLESS, I pay them 918.00!! This was apparently from 2008.
As a stay at home Mom, I just sponge off my Husband. I haven't had a checking account in at least 10 years, let alone do a payday loan.
I told her to go ahead, and prosecute. I could tell by the way she spoke it was a scam. She got pretty mad, called me a few names, and told me to have fun in jail, AND she was contacting my employer. Hahaha!!!
Now, when I get bored, I call them to harass! It's kinda fun!

They left me a very cryptic message, when I returned the call...

They told me that it was for a payday loan from 2009, and they were going to issue a summons and take me to court.  I told them I don't have any debt with a payday loan and I can prove it.  They tried this on me a few years ago as well, and nothing come of it.  Said they were going to send someone to my work and embarrass me in front of my co workers.  I never did receive a summons or garnished wages.  I told them that this time, and said I was not falling for their scam!!!

I didn't get the call but my sister-in-law got a voice mail from this company threatening ME! She lives in NC - I live in Ohio.  I googled both numbers and it shows both as fraudulent/scam numbers which is how I ended up here! lol
