Collections call which left a pre-recorded voice mail.

I returned the call and spoke with a very polite individual at Coastal.  She asked me to confirm my phone number and then asked if I was Robert R.  (I'm not.)  She apologized and said my number will be removed from their database.

Called Saying I Owed on a Pay Day Loan Which I Never did apply For. Said they was taking me to court and I would have to pay 350 Dollars Plus 1500 Dollars Plus Court Cost.  They are Scammers.!!!!

This is a scam tape the call and report them to the police, they are useing a spoof number. Warn all people about these scams

Just called me. Man these guys are busy. Must be something about the end of the year. Freaking bottom feeder debt collector!!!

Getting this call saying someone reported a complaint with police asking me to pay and swttle

Just got a call from them ..they have something in the background that's sounds like a police radio..left me a message as if they are the sheriff department ..but the computer says my name ..I've gotten a call from them before and told them I don't do payday loans so
go ahead and report me..they stopped for about 10 months ..I see they are back at it....scum bags

Just got this call today saying that I owe a loan. When I said never heard of this company ask them to send me something in writing the lady I spoke with ask me for my address when I started to give it to her then though and ask her WAIT wouldn't you have that info already. WOW did she get angry got loud with me . I ended the call. SCammers

The police have much better things to do with their time than collect a debt for some scummy criminal pretending to be a debt collector

This is a common ploy by criminals masquerading as debt collectors who are attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your work place, friends, or relatives repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying.  They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They been calling me for twoday I finally called them back cause my wife was worried they are  scammers
