Just called my home telephone.  First there was a momentary silence and then that distinct call center background noise as the caller gave their name.  Didn't hang on long enough to hear the pitch, but you can rest assured it was a sales call or a survey.  Showed up as "Unavailable" on my caller ID.

Had been getting calls from 855 206 7187 had that blocked, now it's 855 206 7185. They are really tricky. But why don't they say anything if I answer the phone? Freaky...

This number calls repeatedly every day.  Not sure who this is but it's getting annoying

Ps.  Griping and complaining without giving the info about who is calling from the specific number is a waste of everyones' time.

I get calls from this number daily, they start before I am awake early in the morning.  They call several times a day.  I wish I knew how to block them but guess I am either too old or too stupid to figure that out.  Very annoying when they start my day out with their darn calls.

After getting calls everyday for a couple of weeks, someone finally came on the line.  It's a political ad for Dr. Ben Carson.  After the recorded message, someone did come on the line and I asked them to take me off their list.

I get phone calls several times everyday from 855-206-7185. The last time I answered was a few months ago and no one replied. I am 81 and have health issues that make it difficult to get to the phone at times. This caller starts early in the morning and continues during the day.
I do not want them calling me.

Never, EVER, give out ANY information about yourself or your household over the phone or online!

Just don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize. Your friends and relatives will leave messages accordingly.  Ignore calls/emails from those you don't know.  And don’t waste your time on “do not call” lists and the like.  These lists have a bazillion legal loopholes, and the callers are usually scofflaws anyway; they couldn’t care less whether or not they’re breaking the law.

Only when we take the profit out of these calls will they stop!

I found that this number belongs to the DNC and you can not call it.

I get called everyday and never answer.  To the person who said griping and complaining is useless, I disagree. It lets me know that other people are getting called from the same place so helps me feel no compunction about blocking the number.  (though blocking is a never ending process as they rotate the numbers when they get blocked by too many people)

It is the American Legacy Pac , affiliated with Newt Gingrich.  Is he liberal?  Political. name calling just not stop the calls

Newt is an establishment Republican.  One of the more intelligent, however, establishment all the same.  New blood is needed, obviously, the traditional party politics, on either side, is NOT working.  And the current administration's progressive agenda is a complete disaster!!!  Thanks for the info, on the source of the call, though.

CALL FROM 855-206-7185,just now! Yesterday it was neighbor and i;m on the no call list! This is getting to be to much!!!

We may never really know who these callers are, unless they say on the phone. Even then, I'm not sure I would.
Don't trust the caller ID. There has been caller ID theft going on. Jerks stealing names to hide behind....I once gave a 'neighbor' a lecture about calling several times a day (same phone prefix as our's). They called AT&T and found out about caller ID theft. Now, she calls me and leaves a message. Any calls w/o a msg is probably not them.

I just wanted to thank you for giving the nice woman the great advice. Others can use this advice as well. I already know this. I don't answer unknown names/numbers,  private/unknown/ blocked/obviously spoofed ID/number, or toll-free numbers. And, obviously, some known to me that I don't answer. If something's important, they can or will leave a message. DNC is a joke on us all. The FCC, and FTC accept complaints, but they are compiled with the millions of other complaints to look for the high volume numbers. Then they MAY do something about it, more likely not do anything. Again, the joke's on us. We have to be proactive.  I use the app "Call Control" paid version on my mobile phone.  I've used it for a couple of years, and it works very well with a personal custom blacklist, and a community blacklist, plus some other functions. The free version works very well, too. The company has a home unit coming out. If you're interested, it's available in the Android app store.
One more little thing, thank you for correctly saying "COULDN'T care less" instead of the very common, and nonsensical "COULD care less" that's just idiotic.

I get annoying calls everyday.  Want it to stop now.
