- Mike replies to Christopher Geary| 1 replyWe received phone calls to all of my siblings trying to track me down. Stated I applied for a loan online in 2011. I have never applied for a loan online. They stated the FDIC has been looking for me since they had to pay for this loan from 2011. They started at $550. Then went to 550 plus court costs and other fees $1380 if I don't sign for certified documents today. Then he said they would settle for $351 right now if I wanted to settle. Is this a scam. Has anyone else experienced this? Please let me know
- Alex Rodriguez| 5 repliesYes Mike this is not a scam. The FDIC did pay on my behalf so i had to contact bank. Glad they contacted me before i did have to pay additional fees. they will also work with u. but yeah i was served on my job.
- Homemaker replies to Alex RodriguezYeah right....shill alert !!
The FDIC does NOT cover payday loans!!
Only covers depositors in case a bank fails...EPIC fail !! - Homemaker replies to MikeIt's a scam.
- Gunnar replies to Alex Rodriguez"Alex", you poor little Cretin! Someone went to all the thought to dream up that FDIC angle & you show up here & blow it all to crap! You're not going to be very popular at work tomorrow "Alex". Not that your scam would have worked on many people anyway. It is pretty lame.
I won't even go through the usual routine of proving you to be a fraud. You've done that for me. Damn, you people are just incredibly stupid!
Skeff Ett Liv!
Gunnar - If replies to Alex Rodriguez| 1 replyyou were served, then you should be able to tell us the name and address of the company that is suing you. Nothing personally identifiable in that, but it would go a long way to proving that you are telling the truth and making this up as a company paid shill.
- U.R.Fullofit replies to Alex RodriguezHey, A-Rod.. The steroids are affecting your brain. SHILL ALERT!!
- Gunnar replies to IfYou're making a good point but you're wasting your time. "Alex" here isn't going to be returning with anything at all. "Alex" won't even try to post under a different alias. He's not even close to being able to play in this league. The best "Alex" can hope for is to find a better Shill for his fraud shop or just tank this number & fire up another one. If he does the latter he won't try to return here to Shill for it. He now knows that he'll be eaten alive....
Live Well.
Gunnar - JayIs this really a scam??? I paid them off bc they contacted me at work and k didn't have any proof of repay on my loan. I did get a loan but the balance was higher than I got they said the late fees built up??
- TonyI honestly don't know if it's a scam or not. But I'm not trusting them. Nothing against the company. They just threatening a lot and I call [***] on them bc they were supposed to come out to my house 3 days straight and never showed up. Wtf is an AFS? Or a locator service. Don't worry I'm making everyone aware that if you get a call from an 855# that it's probably a scam. Sheriff office brings documents not a damn locator service. DONT PAY ANYTHING until you have proof. It's a debt collection agency and they will threaten to bring documents to your house and your job but will never show. Call there bluff like I did.
- Caller: AFS Pre litigations
