This is so called Canadian Revenue Agency or CRA scam. Caller pretends to be from Revenue Canada and may claim you owe money or will get a refund, and will try to get your personal information. They actually may leave you a threatening message and ask you or your attorney to call them back. Report all these calls to http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.c ... t/index-eng.htm, but do not speak to them. Call revenue Canada directly in case you are concerned about anything but do not call them back or disclose any personal information.

Left voice message saying that it was "Officer" blah blah blah, that it was important to return his call immediately.

Told me not to disregard his message and have either myself or my attorney contact him and if I did disregard the call he said 'good luck'

What a maroon...  Sad that ppl fall for this crap.  Left a message.  Didn't say where he was from.  Said his name was Officer Craig Williams.  Told me not to disregard his message and have either myself or my attorney contact him...  The kicker to this stupid scam call was that if I did disregard the call he wished me 'good luck'.  Another number blocked.

Ridiculous. Left a threatening voice mail telling me he was "officer Craig Williams" and that I had better not ignore his call and that if I or my attorney didn't reach out that he wishes me good luck while this situation unfolds on me. Craziest spam voice mail received to date!!

I got a phone call from this number and a voice message was left stating that it was CRA and that I or my attorney need to call them back. It's a pathetic attempt at an obvious scam. I called them back and wasted their time for a bit. Then they hung up on me lol.

Received a VM from a gentleman stating not to disregard his call and to have my attorney call him back or else good luck, yet he left no name, no organization and no number in his VM. Luckily my call display had his number and when I googled it, other recipients of this call confirmed its a scam.

Received the same call today. Claimed he was with the CRA and his name was "Craig Williams". The message from the scammer, also sounded middle eastern.

Have received 2 calls from this number.  On my cell phone.  Didn't answer either time.  But caller left an identical message both times.  The same message listed above.Exact same wording, man with an accent.

"Hello this is officer Craig Williams..." /  The threat that it's time sensitive and that if I or my attorney  didn't return the call I would be in trouble.

First call came on a Bank Holiday I totally knew it was a scam then.

Got a call yesterday from this number. The caller, who identified himself as Craig Williams, of the CRA Tax Fraud unit, left in my voicemail a very threatening message indicating that I was to return his call THE INSTANT I got the message, that the matter was very time-sensitive, and that I should not ignore this message or else "GOOD LUCK" with what would then unfold against me. I did call back because I was very concerned. The man spoke English very fast and with an accent that made him hard to understand. He was sort of incoherent with his statements, first telling me, when I asked, that NO, I would not get his allegations in writing, and two minutes later, that YES, I would get a letter. And blablabla, did I have a criminal attorney to represent me in court, etc... Stunned, when I hung up I googled his name and the telephone number, and multiple hits reported that this was an ongoing scam. Thank God I didn't provide any information.

I just got this call - same recording as all the others - a CRA scam.  I sit at a reception desk and keep an ongoing excel list of phone numbers from scammers or telemarketers.  When I see a "bad" number I just pick up the phone and put it right back down again.  I don't talk to them and they can't leave a message.  I let this recording play out because it was so pathetic and I put it on speaker phone so a few of us could have a good laugh.  Not funny though for those who buy into it. I think all landline phone providers should allow us to permanently block an unlimited number of callers and we shouldn't have to pay extra for it.  At least until the providers figure out a better way to block things on their end.

I got the call too. Idiots..
