This person called my Aunt and said that I had to call in 2 day or they would be taking my to court.

Threatened us with court and he was actually going to come to our house from Delaware.  What a scam!!!

Was looking for a person and gave a name and told me that he needed to speak with them in order to serve court papers because he was going to be a hearing in two days for an overdue bill.

Received a call from person stating "this was an official telephone notice" and had to call this number within two days for "sealed court papers". I told him the proper procedure to serve civil papers and he got rude.  the call was actually for my daughter but I took over the phone when he became threatening.  said he was going to "staff the papers and serve them at my house Thursday".  I told him to "bring it" and he yelled and hung up the phone on me.
DONT BE FOOLED BY THIS PERSON; IT IS A SCAM.
They can find your information online; phone numbers and the numbers of your relatives.  If you tell them they have the wrong number; they will ask you for verification like your social or something.  DONT GIVE IT TO THEM.
If you have a civil matter, a deputy will serve papers to you.  If you are not served papers; then you are not required to appear.  
I looked the name up online he gave me and called him. Its not the same person

These people are driving me crazy!!! They keep calling me and my relatives. They are saying I owe them money but can not tell me what is that I owe for. I have already asked them not to call me or my relatives and they still keep calling. I have already reported them for breaking the FDCPA laws. How do I get them to stop???

Got a call today on my work number and my home number with this message:
This message is intended for (my first and last name) my name is (woman's first and last name) I am contacting you in regards to claim number (6 digit number) I would like for you to be advised that I have a request to have you sign for a certified notice of intent to appear in court for impending litigation this is regarding to a claim that has been placed against you at this point you have one opportunity that is to contact the claimant's office that is handling your claim they can be reached at 855-216-9796 thats 855-216-9796 the number that is linked to your social security number is (same 6 digit number) (my first and last name again) to be clear I am placing you on my schedule for service for Wednesday April 4th I will be out to see you at that time unless I hear differently (my first and last name again) you have officially been notified good luck to you.
Wondering if anyone else has gotten messages pretty close to this and are they real or not.  I guess I will find out Wednesday if she shows up.  Will post the results either way.

Highly unlikely anyone will show up!!  Classic scam tactics!!  They MUST provide you with documented proof via US mail of a debt!!  Rest easy...this is a acam!!  I will bet my life nothing becomes of this!

Recieved call from a women named Alana White,.  stating she has an order to deliver a cetified notice of intent.. wish they would stop calling my place of work, family members and my home

i recieved the same phone call. so did my ex. its for a loan we did used to have. he paid his over the phone. made agreements. i think it is just a collection agency using court as a levee to get people to pay right away. ive been served before and was never notified prior to it happening. supposed to be to me on april 5, will let you know if it happens!

They just called my ex in laws sayin about the same thing!

Well guess what, no one ever showed up at my house or place of business so I believe you guys are right, it is either a scam or a debt collector that tries to scare people into giving them money.  I will keep posting if something else happens.  I just wanted to let people know my experience so they would know what to expect from these scumbags.  Goodnight!

There supposed to show up on me today so I will let you know what happens! They haven't called my job so I don't know if they even know where I work or live. We shall see!

so i called back ask for the man who called me so i can find out what was going. when they pick up and started to talk i told them that im notifing that i will be recording this phone call and any info that i recived vi internet mail, usps mail, and from this phone call will be given to my lawyer and that he will contacting them in ref the matter. and the person and the other end was very nice when they found out that i was recording the phone call. i found it was for a payday loan that was taken out via the internet. in may name.but i bet if i didnt tell them that i was recording the phone call i bet there a diffrent. response.

I receive these messages all the time. It's a scare tactic. I spoke to a man who sounded ultra convincing. There is most likely a real debt attached to whatever they want so be aware of that. However don't expect them to serve you anything but a headache! He was a REAL dick! Then he said "jesus loves you" and I said Jesus loves you too, [***].

These people are scum suckers.
