- RenTod17| 1 replyReceived a call from person stating "this was an official telephone notice" and had to call this number within two days for "sealed court papers". I told him the proper procedure to serve civil papers and he got rude. the call was actually for my daughter but I took over the phone when he became threatening. said he was going to "staff the papers and serve them at my house Thursday". I told him to "bring it" and he yelled and hung up the phone on me.
DONT BE FOOLED BY THIS PERSON; IT IS A SCAM.
They can find your information online; phone numbers and the numbers of your relatives. If you tell them they have the wrong number; they will ask you for verification like your social or something. DONT GIVE IT TO THEM.
If you have a civil matter, a deputy will serve papers to you. If you are not served papers; then you are not required to appear.
I looked the name up online he gave me and called him. Its not the same person

- Larky replies to InTexasI receive these messages all the time. It's a scare tactic. I spoke to a man who sounded ultra convincing. There is most likely a real debt attached to whatever they want so be aware of that. However don't expect them to serve you anything but a headache! He was a REAL dick! Then he said "jesus loves you" and I said Jesus loves you too, [***].
These people are scum suckers.
