Call about a legal action from a private number but left this number and said they would take action at my house or job but would not list the legal documentation

I just got a call from this number also.  They DID state that an issue regarding fraud was in their office and if I called within 24 hours I might be able to resolve it.  Completely bogus, ignore the call and don't be concerned, they are phishing for people scared enough to fork over a "partial payment" for a non-existent case!

I got a call from a man claiming that I owe some money to Evergreen PayDay Loan.  He even called a family member to say that he is sending serving me some papers on Monday.  I called and he would not give me any information. We ended up in a shouting match.

Did they serve you with the papers? I just got a call on my cell and work number and said they would be serving me on Wednesday January 14 between the hours of 12 p,m. to 4 p.m. I would need to give them two forms of ID. If I am not there they will try and serve me at my place of business. If I would like to reschedule to call 1-855-217-4639 or if I had any questions to call. Should I be concerned? Did anybody else get a call like this? If so were you served with anything

I just got a call they will be serving me too. I have no idea whats it about? Did you get served or did they contact you again?

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.  They will deliver the notification without warning.

Thanks Slim for the info.  I am sure she will call tomorrow. I have heard some terrible things to people that have been harassed. One thing I was reading is they came to these people's house in a black van as the FBI or any Law Enforcement would. Its' very scary. To think maybe that is their next step to get you to pay. How do they get your information? They called my  cell number and work number. Thank you again.

It is a scare tactic operations like this use in order to intimidate people.

She called back today and said she has had many attempts to contact me. You can hear it in her voice she was getting a bit mad. I waiting for her to call tomorrow.  What low lives trying to take hard earned money from innocent people. They really need to get a job that is legal.

I can just imagine how the telemaggoter would be feel if had the pleasure of being cut off by a call blocker. The phone rings once and ends. It beats hearing several rings.
