Received the call on 1/20/15. The id said UNICEF.

No caller id , didnt answer.

Got a call from this number one day after I changed my number.  Didn't even really ring.  Called it back after normal business hours and got a message stating it was a Unicef branch.  

Have received several calls from this # recently.  Caller ID says:  UNICELF

I did not answer since I did not recognize the number.  Caller did not leave a message.

Called my cell phone on the Sat afternoon after Thanksgiving.  I did not answer and no message was left.  I called the number back hours later and the message said it was the offices for the US Fund for UNICEF.

I didn't recognize the number, didn't answer. Just like a telemarketer, no message left. I added UNICEF to my list of charities I will never give a cent to now or in the future.

I answered with Hello and caller immediately disconnected. I donate to UNICEF monthly and have for awhile.

I've received at least 3 calls from this number in the last week.  I didn't answer the first 2 times.  The third time I answered and it sounded like a pocket dial.  I heard a male voice say "cheese sauce ..." and a few other words that sounded like he was describing a pizza.  Then he hung up.

UNICEF keeps on calling. Is there any way to get these charity calls stopped? I will not donate to any charity that solicits contributions by phone. If a charity I already give to starts calling, they will be cut off, too.

I received a call from this number too.  All the Caller ID said was "TOLL FREE NUMBER" so I did not pick up.  The voice mail did, however, record a lot of background noise, like a high-volume call center.  Now, just because others have reported this number identified itself as UNICEF, there is absolutely no reason to believe it is this organization.  You would think a group like UNICEF would at least instruct their call center consultant to ID their own numbers as UNICEF, rather than TOLL FREE NUMBER.

Chances are, this is a scammer posing as UNICEF or any number of other charities.  My rule of thumb has been simple.  If I receive any unsolicited call from someone presenting themselves as a charity which I happen to sponsor, I simply drop that charity when I receive a request in the mail.  And I send them a note stating explicitly why.  Hopefully, that incentivizes the charity to either drop using boneheaded call center techniques or to get them to also lobby for real change (which may never actually come).

I answered and a man said "From the government." and hung up. Weird. I'm blocking.

This number, Caller ID "UNICEF" calls EVERY DAY, sometimes twice a day. I have called and left a message to be removed from their calling list, stating that I have donated to UNICEF via mail.  Let's see what happens.

Pronounced my name wrong and called back after I hung up!

I got this calls almost every day,didn't answer.

This number calls my "work" cell regularly. I had to add them to a "silent" contact.

I called this # back on a Sunday night and the machine said I had reached UNICEF. I left a message asking not be called again and told them I would report them if I was called again. These people call seven days a week, at all times of the day, sometimes as much as twice a day. I used to be a contributor; I'm glad I stopped.
