- dxcqSaw this on an auto-renewal for a magazine subscription (on my credit card statement). Calling this number, it appears to be an automated attendant for managing subscription cancellations, etc. More later. 2014-08-28.

REPORT IMMEDIATELY!~!! - CatB| 2 repliesI received the same kind of charges on my bank account. I did some extensive research and found the Magazine Subscription account control company responsible for it. I was able to cancel my subscription online as well as call and speak to a live person about receiving a full refund. Here is the link to the company:

- jacpJust received a charge one well fargo account from them? Not happy. I have no Idea why??
- Tiffany| 1 replyNoticed a random charge on my checking acct.. Description: Cosmo and this telephone number. Did some snooping and saw that others had experienced the same thing with different magazines. Probably a year ago I was shopping at DEB and was informed that my purchase qualified for 3 free months of 3 magazines of my choosing. In a rush (I'm sure) I accepted. It wasn't until I got home and read fine print on a flyer stating that the card I had used at that store would be charged for renewals. I was PISSED and felt that my favorite store had deceived me. Cancelled all but Cosmo b/c I was offered 6 months for less than $5.. Fast forward to today when I saw the $47 dollar charge.. I called the number listed with the charge and after following prompts for cancellation was offered a FULL REFUND of my latest subscrition and another 6 months for 2 dollars. I accepted.. but set a reminder to cancel in 5 months. Says refund will be processed in 1-2 days Bottom Line this company is sketchy..

- StephI have received 3 separate charges from these people. $50, $42, and the latest is $62! I emailed them and no response yet. I intend to speak to my bank tomorrow. I'm hoping to get refunded since no authorization of these charges were given. It's so aggravating!
- GratefulMom replies to CatBThank you CatB, I followed the instructions on the Synapsegroupinc.com website and was able to take charge of the subscriptions in my name and cancel as necessary. Once I got to my account, the Magazine Customer Service site was able to explain to me how all this happened. It was very clear and concise. And while I don't appreciate the AutoRenew charges on my credit card, I did enjoy the magazines while they lasted.
- Thank you replies to CatBThank you for supplying that website! It came in handy, and just in time for all my automatic renewals that I did not want to renew!
- KDcall the number mentioned on this website.

I was able to get the charges removed from my account. - The Other Mrs. MacGuyver| 1 replySomehow, I subscribed to magazines via this website. I believe it was through "free magazine" offers received through shopping sites I frequent. I called and cancelled with full refund. I've requested they contact me to let me know when I will receive my full refund. The prices they charged for a 1 yr subscription were more than triple the normal magazine subscription rate. I will also report them to my state's department of consumer affairs and our attorney general's office.

- The Other Mrs. MacGuyver replies to The Other Mrs. MacGuyverAlso, I'm calling my bank. I found out that these subscriptions were obtained through Delta Sky Miles. I used a now cancelled credit card to pay for the reduced subscription prices over a year ago. How did the charge go through?
- SteveIts for Magazine Subscriptions. If you call the number you get an automated attendant who will cancel and refund the money after a few prompts - no problems. HOWEVER if you want to keep the subscriptions, I suggest you still call and try to cancel. They ALWAYS offer you a better deal when you try to cancel. For example, I always get charged $59 a year for my TIME subscription. So I call and try to cancel with the automated attendant. Who ALWAYS follows with " Great News! You have been selected to receive a refund of your $59 and receive a full year of TIME magazine for only $2.00, would you like to accept this offer..." and I say yes. So I keep getting TIME for $2.00 a year... Im on my 5th year of TIME and I have only spent $10! Why would they do this? Because its in TIME's best interest to have subscribers. Thats how they sell ads. Selling Ad space is where they make money. So if you want cheap magazines.... Here's how to get them...
- JamieMissed call no VN. I get a lot of these random callers. All scammers
- Caller: Scam
- Tina replies to TiffanyI had the same thing happen to me, if you call that number back and keep pushing 0* they will connect you to a person and cancel all together or they will get you again.. Thus needs to stop, they are doing it to everyone.
