Wells Fargo promotion

I too got a call from this number too, but strange I do not/never had a Wells Fargo account.

This number just called my phone right now too!  But I don't answer #'s I'm not familiar with. The caller did not leave a message neither.

i do not know who this is but they keep calling me at this time every night. it is 850pm mountain time. this is to late for some thing like this to be going on if it a sales call or something like that

I too receive the call and they said they they'll give me $1000 just to try a program or some sort. The person wanted me to talk to a supervisor but then to no available supervisor. The person said to me that he will make a call back but then i doubt I'll ever pick up my phone with the same number they call.

they call EVERY morning looking for my husband who cant talk of course and wont let me talk to them. I want them to STOP calling. So annoying

(855) 235-5683 is Wells Fargo.  I currently receive one, perhaps two calls from them every day.  Yes, EVERY DAY.  When I am done writing this note, I am driving directly to Wells Fargo and demanding they remove my phone number from their list.  I'll give them a few days to make this happen.  If I get another call from them next week, I'm pulling my money.

"We'll give you a $250 savings card redeemable at many places in exchange for singing up for our premiere customer program at $10 a month." I think I'll pass, basically they are saying 'lets exchange your real money for our fake money'.

THIS IS A SCAM!! IT IS NOT WELLS FARGO. DON'T BUY ANYTHING, AGREE TO ANYTHING, OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. We have been receiving calls from this and several other similar numbers constantly and every time they say they are calling on behalf of Wachovia or Wells Fargo. I called Wells Fargo Corporate and they assured me they know nothing about this, have no idea who is calling from these numbers, and that no 3rd parties are authorized to represent or offer anything on their behalf. I also had the phone company investigating this for us and they said the calls are bounced/spoofed via various places in the world like Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc. This is why the numbers always come up unreachable, out of area, or something like that on caller ID. This is also why they continue to call even tho your number may be in the do not call registry, because they dont care because its a scam and by the time they're tracked down they'll just shut down and start up again somewhere else. Change your phone numbers, people.

This is a costly Wells Fargo SCAM

I pick up the phone and it's some place in Nebraska affiliated with Wells Fargo trying to sell me disaster insurance that would cover my mortgage payments and time away from my home should a disaster hit. The person was very aggressive saying she would send out a certificate saying that I was already enrolled when I didn't give permission to be enrolled.  She says on the phone that it's a opt-out situation where they send you the materials, but you'll have to cancel by June 1 if you decide not to keep it. I told her to take a hike and said I'm opting out of this offer right now.  I don't know why Wells Fargo sells my name and phone number out to these 3rd parties who try to rip me off just because my mortgage is with Wells Fargo.

I don't know who to complain to Wells Fargo? The National Do Not Call Registry (my name is on it)? My state attorney general? The only way to stop scammers is to complain and alert others before they get scammed.

I've never answer numbers we don't recognize. If this is a Well Fargo SCAM that great because we don't have the Wells Fargo banking system in our part of the country. What a bunch of idiots.
