This call came to my brother's cell phone. The caller said his name was Sean from State Farm. He used both my current last name and my married last name, which I haven't used for over 2 years. He said he was calling about claim #7772 and if he did not hear from me by today, he would have to proceed with "further action or charges". I have never had State Farm Insurance, and have never been in an accident involving another party with State Farm. I did not return the call.

I got a call around the same time from a man claiming to be Steve Gibbs from the litigation dept of LCS. He called my parents house and left a message stating I had to call him immediately in regards to a legal complaint against me. There isn't anyone who would be suing me. I've been living out of the country for 2 years. Nice try [***]!

Left a message saying he was Daniel Webb from the "Litigation department". Didn't say which company. Contacting me in reference to a compliant that's been filed in his office. If he doesn't get a call back, "necessary actions and recommendations will be filed out against" me.  Most likely a scumbag debt collector trying to scare me.

MY FAMILY AN D I HAVE BEEN HARASSED BY THE SAME PEOPLE AS WELL!!  APPARENTLY THEY CANNOT FIND MY PHONE NUMBER, SO THEY ARE THREATENING TO SERVE ME AT WORK OR AT MY HOUSE. DANIEL WEBB STATED THAT IF I CALL HIM BACK TODAY, HE CAN HELP ME!!! THANK YOU, I WILL GET ON MY HANDS AND KNEES AND ASK YOU TO HELP ME.

I got a call this morning from a guy saying he was Steve Gibbs also. He said it was " in  my best interest to call him TODAY". He claimed to be from Legal Claim Services in the litigation department. He said someone had filed a complaint against me in their office..also gave a case # of 3432. This came up on my caller ID as a private #. This just sounded so wrong that I did a phone number search on his callback number and this page is what I came up with. Sounds like a scam to me. I'm NOT calling him back.  Thanks for the info.

This company called my job,but the receptionist would not release my extension, but she called my supervisor and gave him the message. I called the number to inquire...and a man with a very firm voice answered saying "Corporate Office". I told them that someone left a message on my phone and he said that the person needs to call right away bcuz they may have a complaint or summons for them. He said the name of the company was Eastern Credit...which sounds crazy after they claimed to be an attorney's office with the receptionist. I admit that I have some charge offs from my credit but they date back over 8years ago and I have not received any mail which tells me that the people do not know my current contact information. I am not calling..bcuz any new contact can cause a collector to re-open your account activity and I am not going there. My boyfriend said that the number is a cell number.

I just got a call for a guy that said he needed to know if I was going to be available to have papers served for me for something...I ask he available where.. just beacuse I just moved from IL to AZ.  This guy could not tell me the address... all he could say was at your home.  I told him no and he gave me a number to call and a case number.  Sounds like a scam to me.

I have been receiving calls from this number claiming he was from the Dixon Litagation Dept. and I need to give them my address so they can serve me a supeona for summons. Of course I did not tell him it was me on the phone and he was very rude and demanding as to where I was and who it was that he was speaking with. So.. today I get another call stating that I will be served papers tomorrow leaving this call back number and a case number to refer to 11-8071. I called back this number on my cell phone and the lady who answered said "clerks office". I hung up and went to the computer. So glad to see there are others who are getting the same from this number.

Latest scam to come from this number:
He says his name is Jose Lopez calling me (a combination of my son's first name and my first name) from the litigation department where a complain has been filed. I need to call the filing firm immediately as further action will be taken. The complaint # (as keeping with his other scams having four digit numbers) is #7599.

Just got a call from a guy named mason what an a** hole he's calling me and he get's an attitude when i don't want to correct what ever info he has of mines. also if your calling me because i supposedly owe you money don't ask me to give you my information.   without telling me who you are calling for you jack a**

This person has been calling my house for my brother.  He is Mr. Clark. He says my brother has had a complaint filed against him and he need to contact the litigation dept as soon as possible so this can be resolved before he makes his recommendation.  Case # 3283.  Caller ID has 978-826-2519 but he leaves 855-237-0850 on my machine.

MY WIFE GOT A CALL FROM "EGC" claiming they had a summons for her and she owed 4000.00 from an old debt she had paid already, they didn't call her though, they called her parents cell phone looking for her, it wasn't hard to figure out what was happening but it was quite upsetting that whoever was calling had access to her personal information. I imagine some people are getting taken to the cleaners by this scam but someone has to do something about these scam artists who have all of our information (THE GUYS NAME WAS CHAD MASON) and he was very rude, ofcourse if it were to be an actual lawsuit he should have just said we will see you in court! DUMB F***ing idiots deserve to be locked up. P.S. He claimed the city was already notified and a court date was setup unless we paid him TODAY.

I received a call from a Chet Mason (I think) and he said it was imperative I call him at this number due to a complaint registered against me by Lancaster County (where I live). Now, it is just after the 4th of July, so I thought perhaps it had something to do with firework litter in the street-- silly, I know, but I did call the number. It was regular business hours on a Friday, but no one answered, and the answering message said they were 'Eastern Capital Group'. Hopefully they don't call back, but at least now I know it's a scam.

a mr. plant told me that i owe a co., however when i called this co., they had no record.

I  recieved a call in june and its was a guy vy the name of micheal walch and he said that if i did not pay 1600 that there will ve further proceedings for wage garnishment. hmmm interesting

Thank you so much for providing this information...same thing...only this call came from a restricted number and said he was an "orange county process" server (I live in Orlando) and only gave the phone number and "case Number 9397" and that was all the information he had as he was just a "pencil pusher".

The only reason I answered the restricted number call was because my good friend had just died from a massive heart attack and i thought it was someone trying to get me from the hospital.

I just called Narciso M. Galvez at his cell number 714-465-8581 to tell him that not only was a complaint filed with the FTC for having one of his employees falsely represent an "Orange County Process Server"  but my attorney will be filing a lawsuit for falsely impersonating a representative of the court..I'll call you back with a case number...Have a nice day....

At first one lady called me and told me to call (855) 237-0850 ext. 12413. She would not give me any further information about why I had to call that number. Once I called I was told they were a collection agency and that I owed over $300 and because of interest rate, i now owed $800+. A guy named Jose said if i paid he would would reduce my interest. He harassed me to pay and called me again but since I do not have any debt, I refused to pay. I just finished reviewing my credit report and I have no such debt or collection agency trying to collect from me. Be careful with these people, they will stress you out, and harass you to pay them over the phone. Don't give them any personal information!!!!
