Caller claims my name and social security number has been named in a civil suit??? Sounds like a scam.

Of course it's a scam. For a real law suit you'd be notified by mail and with no warning.
I'll take a wild guess that they'd be willing to call off the law suit if you pay then a nominal fee, right? Only without them providing any written documentation of why.

These scams are run by telephone precisely so there's no paper trail for you or law enforcement agencies to follow when you find out it's a scam.

I just received a call from these guys stating civil action is going to be taken against me for a payday loan from Money & More from 2008, he gave me a number to call and the number I called said they don't do payday loans over the internet. I then googled the name, and click on their website, and there is no contact info, other than to take out a loan. This guy from ACG Processing emailed me the notice, and on it, the account number is totally different from what he told me over the phone.  I don't know what to do. He said I have to call them back soon, because they close in an hour and today is the last day for me to stop the action.

said they do final reviews for banks and attorneys.  he would not give me any extra time to pay.  scam collectors usually will take anything from you even if its $10 and will take it today, tomorrow or whenever you will give them money. i bet they are the realdeal?

I was told the same thing . They won't take payments either . Sooo when they said I'm out of time I said do what you had to do cause I'm not paying that much money . They continue to keep calling

GOT A CALL ON MY WORK NUMBER. SAID HIS NAME WAS MATT. HE SAID HE HAD LEGAL COURT PAPERS TO DELIVER TO ME TOMORROW AT MY WORK. ASKED IF I WOULD BE THERE. HE SAID I NEEDED TO CALL 855-245-1498 WITH CASE # 222430. THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO ASSIST ME FURTHER AND PERHAPS DELAY THE COURT PROCESS. I  ASKED WHO I WAS CALLING AT 855-245-1498 AND HE SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW, BECAUSE HE WAS PAID BY THE COURT TO DELIVER THE LEGAL DOCUMENTS AND NOTHING ELSE WAS HIS BUSINESS. HE ENDED THE CALL BY SAYING MAKE SURE I CALL THE NUMBER HE GAVE ME. THEN GUESS WHAT??? MY CELL STARTED RINGING...GUESS WHAT NUMBER? 855-245-1498!! SCAMMERS JUST NEVER QUIT!!

OMG How many of these freaking phone calls am i going to get.  It seems i owe everybody and their mother freaking money in which i am going to get served papers at either my home or work if i do not respond within the next 24 hours.....God do they not get the message when i do not answer them! Or i do not call them back!   I am not falling for their SCAM!!!!!  I have made a spreadsheet of all the different numbers that have called either my cell phone and or my work number since June 2013 and i have gotten...now count them .... 20 different numbers have contacted me with pretty much the same exact message!!!!  and guess what, i still  have not been served!! HAHAHAHA<<<<what a joke, but i am getting so tired of this.  Sooner or later i am going to find a way to find these SOB SCAMMERS and i am going to sue the freaking SCAM rght out of them!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG
