There tryin to  collect payday loans and they threightened me with breach of cotract, intent to defraud a finical instution,and theift of services,the truth is, ,,they cant do [***] payday loans dont go against ur  credit report, and payday does not persue for there money they make money off selling there unpaid loans to scumbag debtcollectors...dont paythem [***]

I received a call from this number on April 24, 2012.  Upon returning the call, I discovered that the name of the company is:  RECOVERY PROCESSING SYSTEM that is located in the Eastern Time Zone.  And as the comment left by 'Allana' stated, they are a "payday loan collection agency".  The threats are made to get a response out of you.  "Debt Collectors" will use whatever tactics they can to make contact with you.  They actually don't have a 'legal leg to stand on'.  PLEASE don't agree to do something you KNOW is impossible for you to do.  It will only stress you out and cause you to neglect a bill that MUST be paid every month.  SO, may GOD bless and guide you in your dealings with this and ANY OTHER 'collection agency".

Received same threatening message today but it was for someone I do not know.

I received 2 calls from this number this morning.  They both came from a restricted number but say to call back a mr. rider for my one and only chance to clear this problem up before he will serve me papers to appear in court and charges are filed against me.  according to the utah state attorney generals office this is a scam.   they ared trying to get money and access to credit card and checking account information.  the company may be located in new york with the possability of the owner being an off shore company and the cell phones they are using are disposable.

My twelve year old daughter received a voicemail from "Mr.Rider" from an unknown number for  a Mr. Hernandez stating Mr. Hernandez' social security number and that he could settle his claim by calling 855-247-1942, otherwise Mr. Michael Rider has Mr. Hernandez on his itinerary, and WILL be visiting his home or business. Scared her. This can't be legal??

When I called the number "Mr. Rider" left for "Mr. Hernandez", I explained the above and when I told her about the social security number being recited, she said "oh no, that wouldn't happen, he said the account number was LINKED to the social security number." Then she asked me for the social to look up the account. Told her I didn't write it down because it wasn't my business. *eye roll*

I got the same call this morning all this morning at 7:37 am Central time ( I think that's illigal to call before 8:00 am)  with a Private Number the call was for my husband and the man identify himself with the name of John James, he was rude and scream at me because I was asking what company and what was the issue, he ordered me to take pen and paper to write the info, I told him not to scream at me and I hang up the phone, he call back and left a threatening message, saying that this claim was again my husband SS # to call back and settle, my husband is not calling.

I got acall from Jacob Bronson who is going to serve me with court papers.He left this number 855-247-1942.I called and got a woman , who said I owed for a loan I took out in 2007.I didn't do that and told her so.I owed 600.00 and if I didn't pay I was going to be taken to court . I'm on S.S. disability.

These people called my house threatening litigation against me. They got my name wrong twice and threatened to come looking for me on a date 25 days past. The third call they corrected the date to the end of the week. This extortion, fraud, racketeering. They need to be shut down and thrown in jail. Report them this number to the government. It's a long process but, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I'm getting calls from a Richard Lofton, he is doing exactly the same as everyone on here is saying. I immediately started racing through my mine trying to think who I owed. When he called the next day I tried to search the phone number and found all these complaints about the same tactic happening elsewhere. This is ridiculous of them to be making calls like this and using these tactics. If we come face to face I believe he will have a good reason to see me in court. He will get knocked on his ass!!!

I received a call from these people who threaten to take me to court. They were demanding a pymt from a payday loan since 2008 and wanted to be paid as of right now-says if i don't make a pymt today they would file suit against me and i would owe double. very unprofessional and untactful. very threatening though.  i tried to call back the phone number given but no answers.

A Jim McNulty called my mothers house where i havent lived for 15 years. She was so scared by his threats she was crying asking me what was wrong when she called me to tell me about it. [***] these people they are scammers thats it.

I just received a call from the same number.  I contacted the Missouri State Attorney's office and was told it is indeed a scam.  They strongly urged that we all ignore this fake "Mr. Rider" or whatever name he/she uses.  Do not answer restricted numbers and private number phone calls.  And, DO NOT return the call as this will only entice them to continue the harassment.

They told me I was listed as a reference from my father and that i should tell my dad to have him call that number or a court paperwork will be processed.

ou can't be sued for check fraud or breach of contract.

Have you received a Dunning letter from this agency? If they call again, you need to tell them that they have violated a number of regulations per the FDCPA. You should also report them for those violations. Contact the FTC to report them.

You can then ask for their address so that you may send them a validation of debt request.

If they refuse to cooperate, I'd send them a cease and desist.

PDO is a legal lender but this CA is breaking all kinds of laws. Did PDO not tell you who they sold the loan to?

My husband and I both got a telephone call, within minutes of each other, on our separate phones, claiming to be from a "Michael Ryder", but they were looking for a different name (that was not either of us). The message said that I was going to be served papers because of pending litigation filed against a social security number, and that he was going to show up at the home and work place for this person. The message was very rude, like they were trying to scare someone, with stern statements like "You have been notified", and telling me to call a number for mediation immediately (or else??). I immediately searched the number they gave on the internet, and found the number posted all over the internet that it's a scam.  The telephone number they called us with was listed as "blocked" and they did not specify a company they were from, nor did they include a business name for the "mediation firm".
