    The real Progressive Finance website mentions ONLY 877 area code numbers, not 855 area code numbers, and their site states they are lease-purchase lenders (NOT debt collectors)!

    While they don't list 877 numbers, it is not uncommon for these people to spoof numbers or to actually have other numbers that they call from.

    The first outfit says that they are mediators, a common ploy by criminal debt collectors to claim they are not bound by Federal and State laws.
