855-258-1036 called me and asked for a reference for a person that I did not even know.

called from 855.258.1036 vmssg said from URG debt collector and return call number 855.227.0271

Repeatedly calls home and work.  Has been told I wont pay bogus loan unless written details are sent.  Have also been told to remove my numbers from their system and not to attempt to contact again.  Nothing works, they continue to call.

Call blocker might be your best bet.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize!

Recieved 2 calls in a row to my work number while I was not in office. Then recieved a third call from "anonymous" caller, with a 20 second voice mail that was only heavy breathing. Super shady tactics!

Repeat calls telling me u owe money these people are scammers

Repeatly calls and tells me I owe money. I have already told them to semd me papers or something stating what I owe but they won't.  They call every day all day long. How do we stop scammers

They call non-stop harassing me at home and at work even when I'm not in at work. I called them out on it and they hung up on me. Then they called private and i told them they will be hearing from an attorney.

8552581036 this number been calling me for the past few days! The company name is URG saying its a legal matter. I didnt bother coz i know its a scammer. But its so annoying!

This is not a scam. A friend used my name as a reference for an ex boyfriend and then he didn't pay the loan back. Well, now they are constantly calling my number looking for him.

This number keeps calling for a Juan Martinez, there is no such person at my number.

This company calls my work and me and says I owe a debt that I do not owe. They keep harassing me. I have been a victim.of identity theft but this is just so annoying they gonna cause me to lose my job I've asked them to send me proof of debt and any other documents. They refuse what am I supposed to do they say the debt is attached to my social security number

Any legit debt collector by law has to send written notification of the debt within 5 days of contacting you. These people refuse to send any paperwork until AFTER you pay (and then people say they never get it). While the debt may or may not be legit, the company and tactics used are not. And they break other laws regarding debt collection as well. And the story changes. First, they won't send paperwork, then they did send it and it isn't their fault I didn't get it but they won't send it again. It was from 2009, then 2007, then when I prove that wrong, oh well, the original was 2005. Give me a break. In my case, they are trying to collect a loan that either doesn't exist or one that I already settled and paid.
