A Ms. Brittany "this is not my real name" Lee has called me twice asking for my husband.  Saying they have a pending legal matter in my county.  Legitimate debt collectors identify themselves, tell you what the debt is about and where they are calling from.  Debt scammers never do.  More often than not, the company they say they are working for is bogus.   Unfortunately for her, I have been getting calls like this since April of last year, and miraculously nobody every appears with a summons!  I have never, ever received any type of collection validation letter in the mail from any of these scum bag scammers.  They use all kinds of scare tactics, including jail time!  I always report these scum bags to the FTC and local law enforcement.  Does it stop them?  No, they just change the number and keep calling.  They will never get a DIME from me!!  Do not be bullied by these people.  Make them prove to you that you owe the debt. FYI:  They have 5 days from 1st contact to send you a valid debt confirmation letter.  They will never send it because one does not exist.  They will never provide a physical address of the business they work for.  Do NOT give any personal info to them, especially checking account and credit card info!!  Better yet, just ignore the phone calls, they will eventually stop.

I've been getting the same calls, threats for summons. They picked a company that ive already paid off and are trying to tell me it wasn't valid payment. Call after call after call, names change for direct office lines. Last call i received I yold them I  knew they were scammers and I'd report them to better business bureau. I'm still waiting for summons

Left me a voice mail on my cell phone with case # and phone # to call. I'm sure there is a lawsuit against me that I haven't any knowledge up until now. 😉

The person whom i spoke with nancy turner at 8552584220 was very rude, they called looking for  carl brantley. As i was telling her this is not and never have been a call brantley's phone.I told her not to call my phone anymore looking for him that my phones is rejusters with donotcall.Com and she said she will call anytime she wont if she call my phone again i will report her to the right law inforcement for hirrasment.

These people keep calling for my husband's ex wife.   They need to stop. !

I keep receiving calls from this number concerning a business matter for someone else. I have repeatedly asked them to remove my number from the file. Each time they have assured me the number will be removed. GUESS WHAT? I get another phone call. just today for the same thing. I called them back, I talked to someone who was very rude when I tried to talk to her about the situation. She hung up on me. So I called back. Guess what? She did not answer. "Joe Ross, Manager" answered. He was rather rude as well. He stated that my number would be removed.  We will see.

I just got   a call from an " unavailable number" two days ago saying they needed to serve me papers for a legal matter.
They gave me this 1-855 number and I called. It was actually a debt that I had but they had some bogus address for me and the man was getting very irritated with me.

Then today a guy from the 1-855 number called for Karen Johnson,,,my name is M... Johnson..lol

I received a call from this guy named Nick Spencer with A.R.M. and he asked for some woman to call him back with a case number for a civil case. I informed him that I am a man and this isn't a female's phone number so stop calling me. 2 weeks later he called again so I asked where he is located and he stated that his company is in New York. I asked him why is he calling me about a civil case in my state which is located across the country 9 states away from him? He said he received the paperwork on his desk. He would not give me any information about the case so I asked him to stop calling me. This guy doesn't even know my name so I stopped answering his calls.

Scammer # 1-855-256-0341 is a toll free # so be aware. There is a lot of dung in the world unfortunately.

I'm confused.  Thought you were reporting 855-258-4220.  Where did this other number (855-256-0341) come from?
