I also just got a call from this number... No message left. Tried calling and it was Verizon wireless. They tried roping me into new promotions.

I received a call from this number as well, it's just a scam.  They had my wife's name but called my number claiming to be Verizon & then tried multiple times to get account information and passwords out of me and I told them to go to hell, because Verizon usually is way more upfront and helpful and only calls me for surveys.  After the conversation with these scam artists I called the main Verizon number and talked to customer service who told me it wasn't them who called, and there wasn't any record of said calls from them regarding my account which was a major flag as they said everything always gets documented & they asked for the number so they could investigate.

I just got a call from this number a few mins ago and missed it tried calling back and it said currently our office is closed please try your call again later and hung up didnt say the name of the company or the office hours and also left me no message when they tried to call me !

Called twice now over the last few days. Now I''m just ignoring it

I got my first call from this number a few days ago. I have Webroot mobile on my phone so I added that number to the blocked number list. I just called again but was blocked. 28JAN2012

Falsely claimed to be Verizon rep, seeking passwords/passcodes

Just called my house as well claiming to be Verizon...thank you for this site and for the feedback above! Do NOT talk to these people!

Kept calling me everyday for weeks and never left any messages. I finally got fed up and called them back from a public phone and got a recording that stated it was Verizon and then someone picked up right away.  The recording was not the usual Verizon system voice so I hung up and called Verizon to see if they were trying to reach me.  Verizon rep told me they weren't trying to reach me.  They said I have upgrades available on my account but they would not be calling me from that area code it would have been an 800 number.  I asked to block the number and they did, hopefully that will stop the calls!

I get these calls daily so calledVZ  and told them was impersonating them so they said they will investigate, I hope they can shut this down.

They call you for couple of seconds and then expect you to call back. When you call, they ask details.

its SCAM. don't fall for it.

I have "missed" calls from this number on a daily basis.  I tried reverse lookup to see who is calling.  The phone number returned no results.  Found this blog of a whole list of people getting calls from this number.

This number has called me several times. If there is a way to stop these harassing unknown calls let me know.

Verizon told me its not their number.

"Infocision" calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless.

They called me once a day at inconvenient times for 5 days in a row, and they never left messages.  I finally called back, and they disclosed who they are.  They seem to be a legit company, but regardless I find their calling methods to be quite predatory.  I filed the complaint form on the FCC website.

I have been getting calls from this number for weeks. Finally, I decided to call back and they claim its a VZW promotion. But get this, the lady asks for my name and number. When you call an actual VZW location they only ask you for your name, b/c they have everything else.

I told the lady to stop calling me and she said she would (but failed to get my name and number) so I called VZW from my phone and they said that they don't market from that number! IT is a SCAM ladies and gents!!! Do NOT give out you info if they call u. Call the actual VZW and get the number blocked.

This is an unwanted call trying to solicit.
They keep calling!  It is a bother!!!!!

The person on the phone said  our computer had errors on it and we need to access their website to fix our computer errors! Wtf! We hung up.....these people suck!

I worked for this company.  If you think verizon doesn't telemarket you are right.  They hire a company who deals with hiring companies to call for them.  Its not a scam its a retention program to offer promotions to renew contracts.  Its a simple concept.  No one wants your password or last four of your social for personal reasons.  Seriously what would we do with it!!  we all have had serious background checks for criminal activity  and we have the info infront of us anyway.  Your dogs name fluffy isnt going to benefit me in anyway sry.   If you actually listened you would hear special exclusive offers to keep your business.  This job enabled me to support me and my son without assistance or welfare which I dont ever intend to be on.
