I answered the phone--after 2 hellos.  They said goodby and hung up.  

Said "associated" with Microsoft, and my computer was potentially hacked, and to let them have access to my computer to fix it, heavy accent, Nigerian, hung up when they proposed to let them have access. SCAM

I had the same call today.....heavy accent and said they were associated with Microsoft.  After listening to him tell me my computer had errors, I told him his call made no sense and he tried to give me a number to go confirm on my computer.  He kept saying there was a problem with my computer - I told him there wasn't a problem and I asked him "who the hell are you?".  After his repeated attempts at getting me to believe there was something wrong with my computer I told him that the call sounded like a scam because there was no way for me to verify his identity (to which he said, "you know Microsoft, correct?" lol.  When I told him this was like one of those bank scams where someone claiming to be from a bank calls someone up asking for their account number (with a few F words thrown in at him) - he gave up and said, "I am going to hang up now".  

He said stupid things like "You bought your computer from Microsoft, correct?" to which I said, "Uh, no....I bought it from Office Depot and it's a HP".  "But it is Microsoft"  "Uh, no.....the operating system is Microsoft".  Scam city.

Guy had a little less accent than some of the above post, although he did talk in cartoonish high voice.  Didn't realize it was a scam until his second sentence.  Hung up when he started to ask about my computer.  Somebody needs to develop a way to freeze these phone numbers...

Called my elderly Mother who suffers from Alzheimer this afternoon.  I just happened to be there.  He told her that her computer had errors when she does not even remember how to sign on.  I told him that the number he dialed is on the "Do Not Call List" and that he should not "EVER" call back again.  He argued that he was some legitimate caller.  This company needs to be shut down immediately and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
 

Have received two calls from this number...stating they are from Microsoft and that there is a problem with my computer...after not "falling for their scam", they started cussing and using "f you" , etc.

received several calls from this number, when I answered they try to get information from you when you refuse they hang up on you also refused to state where they are from

I just got a call from this number, when I said hello, no answer. I hung up and listed the number on my phone as Scam!. so next time they call. I won"t be answering.

no message- no answer

Has called a couple of times.  When I answer am told  by the  operator the number has been disconnected.  No messages left or no one answered either time.

Keep getting calls after asking them to stop.

Called about my computer having operating problems. Told them to stop calling me, Can't hardly understand them with the foreign accent.

Asked me if I was getting WINDOWS errors.  Some [***] who could hardly speak English.

Same nobody on other end

Called but left no message.

Daily calls from this #.  No message left.

There's an easy resolution to calls like this - go to NOMOROBO on the Net.  I put it on my phone -ends auto dialed calls like this after one ring.  Love it!
