This number just called me too.  I suspect MetroPCS, but am not sure.

I had a missed call from this number, so I called it back - the automated voice on the other end stated "Thank you for calling Time Warner Cable's Promotional Department," or something along those lines...  You probably received this call because, like me, you only use one of their services.  I have internet through Time Warner Cable, but I choose not to have cable or a land line, so they'll call me about once ever two months or so and ask if I want to take advantage of whatever cable or telephone promotion they're running at the time.

Yes it is Time Warner, their promotions department calls about every 2 months or so to try to sell more services to those that don't already use all of their available services.  We have internet through them and they are constantly trying to get us to sign up for cable and telephone.

What a great site! I hate unknown callers. Even more so if they don't leave a msg. I wish Time Warner would accept the fact that if I wanted more services I would contact them.

I keep getting these Time Warner calls, too, as we only have their internet service as well.

I agree that this is a great site.  It's the only place I found that knew where this number originated.

Time Warner trying to sell me phone and TV service for the umpteenth time.
Luckily I have a smartphone now, got a Call Blocker app for Android and shouldn't be bothered anymore.

They called me today.  Did not leave a message.

Called at 8:30 at night. Not impressed Time Warner. Not impressed.

This is Time Warner Promotions Department.  When you return a call, an automated message will identify itself, then, will ask you to wait for the next available agent, while further recorded advertisement forces you to listen to promotional messages about other TV services you can buy.  Once the agent comes online, simply state that you want your phone number put on TWs "Do Not Call List."  The agent will ask for your name, choose to give her a false one to further protect your privacy if you wish.  She will take your name and phone number, and, will apologize for the "inconvenience."  Then, just hang-up.

Right.  I am so tired of companies presuming they can waste my time with their promotional phone calls, simply because they purchased a phone list.  Although your request will stop this TW call, go to the national "Do Not Call" website, and, register your various phone numbers, giving notice to all companies that you do not wish to be called.  Documenting your phone numbers in this way stops most calls, but, not all.  Just keep at it.  The phone number lists are generated from many, many sources, it's a never ending problem for consumers.

So that's who they are!   Yup got one this morning, I seem to get one every two months whether I need it or not.  Didn't answer though, I smelled a rat.   I too only have internet, I don't want their other garbage.  Thanks for this info!

I am having the same experience as everyone else, Time Warner and I only have Internet.

It is Time Warner and if you call them back they will remove you from their call list and you will NOT get anymore calls.

Calls like every week and hangs up and leaves no messgae

The "National Do Not Call List" doesn't apply to companies that you do or have done business with.  So if you have one of their services.......they can call you.  Call the number back and tell them to stop calling you.  The NDNCL also doesn't apply to political calls either (saw it on the news the other nite).  People are really pissed off about the robo calls and want a stop to it.

Write or call your congressman or senator repeatedly, we're allowed to call them...lol.  And if enough of us keep calling them maybe something will get done to force phone service providers to give us options to turn this crap off.
