Received a harrassing voice mail at my job threatening me - about defrauding a financial institution etc.  Yea right - not me!

I called the number 855-268-4197 and got Universal Litigation and a Mr. Brooks - who refused to disclose even the name of where I was calling before threatening to have the call traced and charge me with harrassment.

I told him to give me the information so I can give it to my attorney and he hung up on me.

A Mark Dunson called me at work about a check he says I wrote and I need to call the 855-268-4197 and speak to someone in legal and I haven't had a paper check in over 10 years.  Mark didn't say who he worked for.

received a call from this number today and she left the following message: This is Ms Collins with DCS and we are investigating a situation that includes your drivers license and social security number. We have an order of delivery to your residence and you have an appointment. I decided to call  you because it appears our records are incomplete and I do not think you are aware of what's going on. The more I look at this the more I see there is no way someone like you would ignore this. Give me a call at 855-268-4167. Ask to speak to our outsource as I am going to be out in the field within the next hour or so. So whatever you do give me a call back the second you get this call.

First off...you do not know my name..Second I do not owe any money and third do not sound like you are reading from a script.  I will not be calling them back and I will not be providing any of my personal information to them.

Yes, exactly.  Because they're scammers.

I just received the same phone call from Ms. Collins and the number they use is similar to Dept of Children Services.  After making a call to DCF and looking on the internet, I realized that this was another scam and if they really had something you would have received it via certified mail.

just got the same call i am so sick and tired of these people bothering me i made a mistake when they calld me at work and i callled on my cell now they have that number said dsc i dont even have any children guess will have to change cell again
