This was a recorded message that said it was from the National Rife Association. I hung up and called right back and was told it was not a working number. I emailed the NRA and asked them to stop calling me. They have not responded.

Just got a call at work...it's not even 9am yet!  It's from the National Rifle Association.  You basically listen to a 5 minute recorded message and are then asked to answer a question about whether you agree that the UN should be messing with our gun rights.  I listened to the whole message, there is no way to opt out, or cancel, or request the calls to stop.  

We are trying to work, this is our business number...these people need to stop!!!

Another call from the NRA. They are using a bunch of different numbers so it is impossible to block them all. I get roughly one call a day from them and they never leave a message nor do they speak when I do answer the call. It is really very annoying and one would think that an organization as big as this would be better behaved than to annoy the public.

3 or 4 calls a week. I've told them before, I'm ot interested in joining. The calls stop but start up again a weeks later.

I'm getting so sick of them calling me nonstop!!! They keep calling from other numbers also....They keep calling 4 or 5 times a day everyday.

I am already a life member of the NRA and if that is the reall NRA, why are they calling over and over again, leaves no messages.

Get these calls at least once a day..they use different numbers all the time. Caller ID shows unknown..I Never pick up and they never leave a message. So annoying.

just got a call from NRA ? Voice sounded like black woman. Second time in one week.I'm filing report with state attorney general online. They swear they look into these guys but who knows. I think it's time to get caller I.D. ? Or is this the scam set up by the phone company to coerce people into additional phone services ? I wish there were people you can trust in this world.

Just got off the phone ( call came in at 8:48 PM). Person was rude and demanding.

Me: Who is calling please.
Malinda:  this is Linda  ( mumbly mumbly...inaudible words) of the NRA
Me: Linda, Please take me off your list
Malinda: My name is MAlinda ( very rude and obnoxious tone of voice)
Me: Malinda take me off of your list. I do not want to be called again.
Malinda: Sir you need to confirm  your information so that I know I am taking the right person off of the list
Me: You don't need such information.
Malinda:  sir you need to give me your....

I hung up. Sounds like a scam artist. If it is the NRA ....then it is a totally obnoxious and alienating move on their part.  either way is a sad day for gun owners everywhere.

I also have received several calls from the national riffle association where they hang up after answering
I found a number and got through to a person.  They transferred me to their department that would take my number off, but got put on hold where it seemed like forever.  I hung up and called back.  This time they said to call corporate but wasn't a toll-free#.  I told them no-way esp if I'd be on hold forever.
She put me through to her supervisor, who took my info and said she would take care of it  I am sharing this number with all of you to try.  1-800-672-3888  Good Luck   She said it would take 2 weeks for it to go through the system  (funny, I don't think it took that long to get my number in theirs)

I've been a Life Member for longer then I can remember = 30+ years, I'm sure.
If - IF! - they are truly the organization making these calls then this is absolutely unacceptable from such an important organization and if - IF! - they're responsible for them, they should stop that policy immediately..!!
It's a beautiful Sunday evening and I've just received another of those (usually) twice-a-day calls..!!

Why the hell is the NRA making robocalls in Vermont when the next election is over a year away? The Vermont presidential primary isn't until next March!

As far as I'm concerned, the NRA can go straight to hell. It's been taken over by extremists who have a total disregard for the safety of crime-plagued city dwellers with their Wild West mentality on guns.

They keep calling us after we told them that we don't want their calls.

Very, very annoying.

I just finished contacting both the initiator of the calls and reporting them to the FCC abuse line; we'll see where it goes.

I wonder how good their network folks are .... how would they handle a denial of service attack on their website and telephone system ....  Hmmmmmm  might be fun to find out.
