Got a call from this number saying I owed a payday advance but won't give me any information or the address of the company in which the loan, was taken out.Also claimed to be a detective for the US Marshall.

Yesterday, We told the person who called our office that the person that he asked for was not here. He then proceeded to call our place of business 5 times repeatedly. Today we called to let them know that this was a place of business and they needed to find a new phone number to get a hold of the person they are trying to reach and the man spoke very rudely and lied about the previous day. He then proceeded to call our place of business over and over and over again. It was like 30 times and we have 4 witnesses in our office who can attest to this. Please if anyone knows who is in charge of this company - please let us know we will be contacting our attorney for this harassment and disruption in our business. Thank you!

Got a call from this number but I usually dont answer it. Today I did and the lady said she was from an investigation department about a pay day loan. Legal action is being taken towards me and then transferred me to her higher up. He proceeded to tell me his name was Daniel Smith. First of all, how convenient of a name and two they do not speak clear english. He had my social and advised me that if i do not take care of this matter at hand that two officers will be at my address of billing in 24 hours. I proceeded to tell him that what he was doing was illegal and would be disconnecting. He disconnected before I could. No fight from him or anything. I have had these "companies" call and threaten to call DHS on me. I could never believe how rude these companies can be, and they are not even ligit!

Jus like the woman above i too recieved the same call but they eere very nasty.. i asked too many questions to them that they got confused in lies... the man asked me for my attorneys number.. i gave him the wrong number on purpose and he called me back within two minutessaying i must think he is dumb ro give him the wrong number.lol.. he proceeded to tell me he is going to make my life a living hell and to suck his 7in big [***]  and called me a [***] about 8 times after i told him this call is being recorded for the police... i too did call my attorney and he stated to fjnd out what company this is so i can push harassment charges oh yeah and all the men that work there are named daniel smith and speak bad english... this does scare me a little to know that our government is that jacked up to where these foriegners have acess to my personal social number and the last place i worked... i did apply for a payday loan almost a year ago...never got it credit is jacked...lol

These people are horrible!  I almost had a heart attack!  A "Janie Cooper" called my law office and left a message with my office assistant saying she's from the Investigations Division of Depart of Homeland Security.  Because I'm an immigration lawyer, naturally I returned the call.  When I did, the number was answered by a man who said there is no voice mail nor email address for Janie Cooper because all messages get routed to the supervising officer.  I asked whether I have the right number because then his answer perplexed me having been exposed to quite a number of different divisions of DHS.  So, I asked again what company I'm calling and his answer was Bureau of Crime Investigations.  He added he would appreciate me calling during their business hours of 9 to 7 eastern time.  Whoever these people are,  they must be shut down!  They should not be able to operate this way!

I got these same calls from this number threatening me with jail if I didn't sent money within 24 hours via money graham. My best friend was also called saying that she signed (or I signed her name) as a responsible part on my behalf and that she would be put in jail if I didn't pay. We were both very upset. I called this number and spoke to Danny Stein. He threatened me and called me a liar. I asked him to provide me proof of what he is calling me about and he said he could not do so because it has been sent to the judge. he said to send money now to avoid my arrest. What can I do to stop these calls? I have several voicemails from them and so does my friend threating arrest if we didn't send money.

I received a phone call from this number advising that I was going to be arrested in 24 hours. I would not provide any information to him and he hung up and cursed at me.

They called my company looking for someone they claim is employed by us.  I told them this person is not on my payroll, he called me a [***] and a liar and demanded that I send him my payroll list after he told me to [***] and go to Hell.  He also mentioned that I would be getting a visit from the Sheriff in regards to this matter.

I am been harrass by a company that want give them there company name talking about I owe a payday loan and they was coming to my job or house and have me arrested and I am really tired of the call at my work place. Please advised.

Same as all the above notes...harassing phone calls at my work, my home, cell phone etc.  They threaten to have me arrested, send people to my home etc....this company must be stopped.  I told them I had the FBI tracing their calls now.  They hung up.

got the same call just a few minutes ago.   Saying if I did not pay they would file a criminal case with 5 years of imprisonment and 3 counts of fraud.  The worse thing is they have my ssn and bank account number and place of employment and said they will call my work tomorrow every second until I am fired.  Now they have me worried. Has anyone found anything about them?   I have no idea where they got my information or what they are talking about.

I keep getting phone calls from this company and my boss is too stating the Marshall are coming to get me.  I don't have any payday loans and am getting tired of getting phone calls from them. So I am fighting back by calling them 50 times a day.. They hang up, they tell me if I keep calling back they will rape my daughter or wife or mom.. really?? Face me [***]..

Tell them to call your legal representitive and give them the number of your local police department or state police barrack.

We have been getting calls from this number all morning - every 60 seconds - requesting money from an employee - will not stop calling.

Calling and harrassing phone calls  - I'm not even the right person they need to speak to.

I didn't know what to do so I typed the number into google and this blogspot came up. I'm sorry everyone is going through this including myself but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Some pretty common names for some Eastern Indian....
