They refused to provide me any information without me providing my address and last four of my #SS

I was first called by a New York number, 212-660-2001, telling me there was a case against me and I needed to call the 855-285-4108 number with the case number they provided me in order to coordinate the serving of papers.  They knew my full name.  When I called the 855 number they asked for the case number and I provided it and they said that belonged to another person and stated his full name, they then asked my full name in order to search their records.  When I provided my full name to search they stated they found it and asked for my last four of my SSN in order to verify it was me.  Nope, If someone needs to serve me papers they should know where to find me.

The names of the two guys running this scam are:

They called my mother-in-law, who lives 2000 miles away looking for her son.  Scared her to death.  These types of criminals are the lowest... This day in age, if law enforcement is looking for you, they will find you and aren't going to call to tip you off.  Sad that they scare older people like that.  What would their Grandmother's say?  :-)  

called a previous address and stated I needed to call within 2 hours. After reading this I will NOT be calling and you should not either.  If you are looking for me and this is so serious then you should have current information. They can go to hell and try to pursue whatever case they want to

These people are funny callin my mother havin her think it is urgent so she calls me frantic...you have two hours to call these people...the world we live in...I advise no one to give these people any information...and definitely pass the word around of this mess!

I am ready to rip this land line out of the wall. All I ever get is scam/credit card calls-3-4/day. I can only hope that these low life scum balls get their own case number for real.....I would love to punch one of them right in the kisser...have a great dat to the rest of you.

Same thing just happened to me called from a 212 number had to call the 855 285 4108 won't tell me why there calling unless I give my social s number yea no not doing that sounds fishy don't fall for the banana in the tail pipe

What if some call your mother or grandmother baby pay back is a [***] so when  things start going bad in your don't cry take it the way you gave it believe me it's going to happen

Received several calls from New York and LA from random numbers. When I called back, one was disconnected after talking with them 5 minutes before, and the other number is busy every time I call. So I called the number provided and they passed me around to different people each time I called. Asked for my sisters SS#, since this was regarding her, and I did not provide it. I asked what the case was about, and they would not provide me with information without the number or at least 2 numbers in sequence. When the "administrator answered the phone, there was no professional courtesy. It was a pathetic almost silent "hi". Who answers the phone that way? These people need to be found, stopped, and thrown in prison. They have called 4 of our family members, but never once contacted my sister. I am willing to help in any way I can, because this isn't funny, or humane. It's gross and pathetic!

These people keepscalling harassing me for my sis I will not continue to allow this illegal behavior

Now they are using jb&ass. As a cover now. They had my whole Ssn from the jump. Also old account info from 14 yrs. ago. Call tne fed. Trade comm. on these [***]. I did. No good tards.

Jp & Associates is a COLLECTIONS company

They act like they are a process server company (United Processing Services) by calling off fake numbers THEY MAKE UP then have people call back "The Legal Office" (JP & Associates) but its the same office, not to mention it's in a shopping mall

They all have fake names, they use illegal scare tactics, and like I said collect on old debt, they make up their own charge off dates and try to trick people! They are desperate for a dollar! THEY ARE A SCAM.. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOU SS OR CREDIT CARD INFO! CALL A ATTORNEY

They called me today from a Texas number. And someone called from a NY number last week and when my husband called them back he got hung up on. They wanted me to call JP& Associates. Well I called stayed on hold for a few minutes hung up. Did my own research. Called Tx she had heard of them she knew exactly it was a scam as I thought. Called from a 817-700-1800 wanting me to call 855-285-4108 he asked me to verify the last four of my social and I told him he called me you verify my last four and stopped and stuttered ugh ummm I told him I did research before he called me back and I have no court cases pending against me. He just stuttered again. I told him that he will be getting a call from my sheriffs department. Ndvthen I said see you in hell and have a nice day d***head....

I got this exact same call and response. Asked for the ref#, gave it, came back with someone elses name. Gave my name (foolishly) and BINGO, the ref# was one digit off. Appears that I owe money to Verizon Wireless (of which I have never done business with) So I asked what Verizon number this was in regards to and was given a number that was wrong. The number I got back was close but incorrect to matching my old prepaid phone number (that also was not Verizon, it was AT&T). It's a prepaid, there is no bill or charges to accrue, ever. When I voiced that he said I singed up with it when I lived at an address that he provided and that I had "used" to make my service plan (still non-existant). Address was a mishmosh of 3 previous addresses I had over 10 years ago (street name from one, street number from another and all for a different town). Told them I would wait for the Sheriff to serve me papers and go to court. He got all sympathetic and said he would hate to see me go to court and have to pay $1400+, I could pay $252 or make a counter offer. I said I will offer a dollar as payment and if that was accepted, then they can kiss my ass, I wouldn't even pay that amount. I won't pay a penny to a bill I don't owe and every bill I have ever had IS paid in full. He didn't "get" why I would want to go to court and pay more when I could pay less. I replied that because when we "go to court" then I can sue them for harassment and fraud. He hung up.
