I have no outstanding debts, and since they didn't leave a message, I assumed they are bogus for whatever they're attempting....

This is the AMVETS charity.  We have given to them before our old household items,  She was very kind and asked if there was anything we wanted picked up.  They have never called me before but, maybe their low on donations this month.

This was a call from AMVETS needing my household items.

This is Amvets.  They are very nice on the phone.  I've donated in the past, and probably will in the future.  Just not this time.

Recieved a call from "UNKNOWN". No response. A minute later recieved a call from this number. No response. Someone should get these guys.

I agree.  Did you follow up with a registered complaint to the DNC and FCC sites?   That makes us all part of the solution..

Just donated to them 2 wks ago and they want more. I'm going to donate to another charity. Blocked their call and reported to do not call registry.
