I got a call, automated friendly woman's voice saying she was from from Kaiser Permanente saying to call this number so that I don't miss out on information others found helpful.  (?)

I also got a call from Kaiser asking to call this number. I did call and did not have to disclose any identifying info such as health nubmer, dates. They just confirmed my name and provided information about changes to my insurance, specifically that any extra treatments aside from preventative may be billed after the appointment. They also provided information about where on their website to find treatment estimates and how to contact a financial counselor with any questions. This was all automated and seems like a response to new policies that require them to inform members of costs prior to a visit.
