this number is from Global Credit and Collections city-bank division so it says.  I have 17 total calls in less than 2 weeks from this line and several others (561-829-2169, 518-615-0667, 877-241-7841, 732-227-8448 and 609-674-9135).  They seem to be using name and locale association apparently trying to get family members to put pressure on someone who owes money.  Between harassment and embarrassment to coerce a payment or intimidation by saying "its your last chance""call now" it all equals extortion.  I've been trying to get my number removed and have come short of going to the States DA (my last promise if I receive another phone call).  I'm on the "no call list" and have done as they asked by disregarding the call because I'm not who they are looking for.  I got sick of it 2 days ago and have called them twice to have my number removed.  I get a call tomorrow, there will be no return call from me....they'll hear from an attorney.

They've left me many messages using many numbers in the last two weeks.  They've called my cell, my home, and my husband's cell.  I don't owe anyone anything, and even if I did, they're pretty harassing.  Today, my husband took the call.  My husband said he didn't know who I was (to see WHO THIS GUY WAS).  The guy then actually gave my husband, who said he didn't know me, ALL of my personal information that he had on me - he had definitely run a background and credit check on me, obviously without my consent.  It was surreal. He told my husband he was going to find my family members and "nail me" for not returning his calls.

Good luck with that.  And if it's a real company hiring them?  Wait until we find out who you're representing.  I agree with "enough" - I may hire an attorney, they seem to be trying to commit identity theft.  Look up Global Credit and Collections - there are many complaints against them out there on the net for you to find.  I'm not answering them anymore.

They have called my place of employment.  These people totally work out of the realm of the law.  Something shojld be done about them.

I received a phone call fron these people reguarding an inquiry I apparently made, not to mention left me a different phone number to call reguarding it. They knew my full name, which felt weird and the

They also use: 855-288-1447; 804-381-6356, and if you get an unknown caller, chances it is them.

Global Credit Collections from Citibank (they claim) have been calling, non-stop for about two weeks now.  I average two to three phone calls a day from them, often between 4-6 AM.  Usually a machine, though once I did get a man who tried to do his best strong arm technique (note: hey buddy, over the phone, that doesn't work so well).  They're trying to find a man who I don't know and who has never lived here.  Twice I got agents who have said "We'll take you off our call list"...only to have them call the next day.  And every day following.

Number they use is 855-288-1447, "Mr. Khalid" (sp?) extension #6687 is my last buddy to call.  

We'll see if I hear from them again...

Been getting calls from this phone# for someone who doesn't even live at my phone#?
Everytime I call them to tell them to remove my #, they get defensive with me and say "well, do you know this person"?
What's the difference if I do or don't know the person they are calling?  HOW did they even attach the person to MY phone#?
I have asked them 3-times now to REMOVE my # from their records to no avail.
IF I get a call one more time...I WILL seek legal services!

I also received a call from this number today. I did not answer it as it was an unfamiliar number. I always let the phone ring and if they leave a message, I listen to it at my leisure just to see who was calling. I am able to block several unwanted numbers from my Verizon phone. No message was left by them today so I am not sure who they were "representing".

These stupid people wanted to talk to my mommy. I'm only 11 years old and my mommy was at work. His talking was like Chinese. When i said "can I take a message?" He just said I'll call later and hung up on me. When ever there's random numbers calling me I search it up online to see where it can from. Uhh annoying people 😡👎

Call message as follows, "This is an attempt to collect a debt by a debt collector, there is a time sensitive matter concerning my office that I'm not sure you are aware of... I would like to discuss the details with you directly...etc."

this people also call my job looking for someone who I have no clue about, I called them back and told them no to call me, they continue calling and know I have a lawyer looking into them and sure enough they stop calling.  

They left a message:

This message is strictly intended for Andrew Clark. If this is not the in time the party. Please disconnect the call. This is Casey Dunlap call from Global Credit and Collection Corp. This is an attempt to collect step by a debt collector and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. You have a personal business matter in my office. The requires your immediate attention. I would like to come to an agreement with you on this matter I am your sign representative, so please contact me directly at Toll Free, 1(855) 288-1447 Direct extension, 3560.

Weird. I have no outstanding debts. The number that actually left this message was +62 388 86758

  Received a call on my cell phone from this number 410-220-0280 without a caller Id. He said his name was Nick and was inquiring about a family member. He would not say why except my number was used as a reference. He was also wanting me to confirm information on myself. I later found out he called my house (different phone carrier) and also harassed my wife on her cell phone. Nobody gives that much info for a reference. He left a call back number 855-288-1447 to pass on (not going to happen).
  My guess is he's a debt collector that enjoys sitting around on his lazy #%!. Stooping so low trying to intimidate a persons family (sure I'm not the only one) to get results. Try not hiding who you are and bothering people, Take that effort and do your own job.

I don't work for this company yet they are looking for my husband's ex.  I am not giving you any information. Stop calling me and harassing us.  This isn't even about us!  We don't owe you ANYTHING! We are on the do not call list.  If you call again I will be forced to take further legal action.  You have been forewarned!!!

We have NO OUSTANDING DEBT!
This wreaks of the same scam I received last week claiming to be the IRS. And threatening a lawsuit. I do not scare easily & I'm forwarding this on to the NC Attorney General.
Can someone PLEASE get these scumbags shut down before they steal money from people who will be fooled by their semi-professional demeanor. I did not & WILL NOT return this type of call!

I am getring about that many calls a day. They dont keave a message and when I have anaswered there has been no one on the phone. Texas has a harassment law that you can recover up to $1000 per call. They keep this up I am seriously considering filing [***] against them
