Called my job telling my boss they were coming with the sherif to arrest one of our employees..she asked the name and he said mine..she told him he wasn't to call her place of work that it was against the law..he said he wanted H R office and she hung up.called my brothe and said there was a warrant for my arrest..really wtf I don't even know what it's for but the shouldn't be able to tell everyone crab like that..

Just got phone call at work and cell phone from A Laurie Miller. She was very threating and left a case number but no reason for her call or what company she was calling from. Said that this was my last attempt to be notified and that I should call back immediately...I plan on filing a compliant with the FTC and my local law enforcement angency. Such idiots.

I got a call from this debt collector today. I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy recently. They were collecting on an unpaid payday loan from 4 years ago! I asked them who the original creditor was and they said it was DJR Group. I have no idea who this is. I told them I'd filed bankruptcy and gave my lawyer's name. The person I spoke to was marilyn Johnson. She said that this debt would not be included in my bankruptcy because it's considered "fraud" because I wrote a bad check and she would like to settle out of court. They have also left messages in the past threatening to send the "sherriff" to my house or to my job. She said that because I'd filed bankruptcy though, she would offer a settlement of 60 cents on the dollar I owed, reducing my deb from $430 to $185. I called my attorney who said DO NOT PAY THEM. This is a scam. She said that scammers find lists of people who owe old pay day loans and threaten things like the sherriff or law suit so that people are scared and pay them. My lawyer said NO SHERRIFF is going to come to your house or place of employment. She said to tell them that when the sherriff arrived, I'd be happy to speak with them or that when the court papers arrive that I would review them with my attorney.

Received multiple messages daily claiming to file in court and garnishee my wages if I don't contact them in 24 hours.  They have been calling for weeks and then called my daughter on her cell at work (I don't know how they got her number) and threatened to garnishee her wages also since her name is associated with mine.  This is a major scam.  This is a payday loan included in a bankruptcy 7 years ago.  Also every time I call the number  no one answers.  The answering message says Patterson's Associates but they claim in the message they are from the Sheriffs Dept and in one message the Dept of Social Services.  They can't even remember their own scam.  Hang up on them or blow a whistle in their ear when they call.  855-288-2006

Got a call from this number saying they were from riverside creditors and they are going to garnish my wages, they refused to give me their FDIC number and refused to give me the Number for the original creditor. Lady got nasty with me when I refused to confirm any info, and started telling me I was childish, this was after I asked for a date of when this payday loan was taken out, she gave me the date for 2011 and the name of a bank I haven't had sense 2009.

Some ding bat named Elizabeth Wells left a voicemail on my phone to inform me it would be their final attempt to contact me concerning a court case.  Well good stop calling you doofus monkey butt, I have no reason to speak with you. If you had anything against me go for it, I know nothing will happen because you are a scam nut!

It seems like those thieves are doing their homework with public files,  Bankruptcy and anything associated with it.
Then they call those people and try to extort whatever they can get.   Got to hand it to them.   The scammers of this world are always thinking of new ways to not work and make a living off of others.

I got a call today from this same number and the guy said that his name was Logan Massey and he was from Foster Brown and Assocaites. I refused to verify any information that he requested.

they have called my number and trying to call my mother.  They say are a national locator service trying to find me for a divorce.  This is a scam. I told my mother to ignore the calls or tell them to stop and we will press charges against them.  Sad when a company picks on a elderly person.  They really need to quit.  SORRY  ***

Today I received another call from Foster Brown Assocaites but this time it was a Roger Smith that called and he said that his number was 855-925-1999

Just got a called from Elizabeth Wells saying that she is from the Department of Records stating this is the second and final attempt to hear form me. she did not identify what the call was in reference too and was very threating in her tone. The number on my phone came up as 8553502509 but she left another number 8552882006 to call back. These folks are fear mongers and will extort money from all who are sucked in to their web of lies. First do not verify any info and if they tell you that law enforcement is coming to your home or office say ok I will speak with them. Any legit debtor collector will send you a letter in the mail with a 30 day response time to contact them verifying the debt. Please be very careful and don't give them any info and file with the FTC as I am doing today. God bless!

Elizabeth Wells called looking for someone that doesn't work here. This is a business. I pressed 1 to speak with an associate, who was exceedingly rude, and requested that she remove our number from her file since this is a business.  SCAM.  Do not verify anything. Do not listen to their threats.

Same female's name used when she left a message on my machine. She didn't even say the name of where she was calling from. Just said "the Office".
 I really feel bad for persons who don't know any better and pay these Scumbags! I loved the wording of your comments   Lol

Left message on my cell stating this is your "Notice of Intent" and this was my verbal and 2nd attempt.  I never got a first attempt.  I never returned the call.
