Yes i had the same problem they contacted my job and threatened to turn everything over to my employer.

who are these people? they called my old employer (i was laid off in the fall) and they called my cell phone as well. never stated who they were or what they needed, just that they had some documents to fax over to me and needed to go over them? when i look up the original number they called me from it's LA and for some childrens mental facility?...

Called my work number right after I got a call about 30 mins. earlier from another number but, I didn't pick up because no one calls my personal line at work. Ridiculous!

I recieved a call from this phone #  they called my work, he said is name was mark so my work did not tell them if I work there or if I did not, and they said to my employer I will need a lawyer his name is Mark . with ext  310 ? Who are these people

I had the same thing happen to me this afternoon. Called a very distant relative, place I never lived and whose phone number I do not even have and said they were a case worker, Mc Carty or Mc Cartin or something like that. They never stated exactly what they wanted either, nor did they identify the company they were with.

Erie Mitigation has called me more than once in the past few days, always saying the same thing  they have been given "documents to handle" concerning a "personal matter about you" that you need to call them back immediately - or by 3pm - or by the next morning - because they don't want to proceed without talking to you first. They are obviously reading from a script.  If I owe a bill, then I should receive something in the mail.  If not, then it's not valid, sorry.  I have no idea why these people are calling me, but I pay my bills and have nothing in the mail from any "erie mitigation" company.

So my sister got a call today stating that she was going to be sued for a loan of $350 that she owed. Really One the company isn't going to take you to court it will cost them more in the end. Second i called them asking questions, who are they are they the loan lender or a collection agency? No collection company is supposed to talk to anyone but you.... yet they talk to me I state she will not give you a dime unless you send the proper paper work stating that she owes the debt. If you want to go to court then send those papers aswell. They said that they can't do that i asked are you a scam he just hanged up C'mon $350.00 I am so pissed off my sister was scard to freaking out. ITS A SCAM DONT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY..........

I got a call from this number @ work. they told a co worker they were calling about a claim she had w my company and I was the one that set it up and she could only talk to me about it.  Well I work in a call center and we do not do claims for anything, we have a seperate dept that does claims. I called the number back and they answered Erie Collections. She called 3 times in a row and then my home and then my cell and left a message that I had to call backk By 5 pm to ext 303.

They have been calling all day stating there was paperwork sent to their office about me.

i had a loan with hydra fund.  it got sent to collections, and erie mitigation is the group that handles online loans that are in collections. so if you get a call from them, it is probably about an online or payday loan.  i called the loan place to confirm who had my paperwork since it was in collections and they gave me their name and number. so i am paying them off now.  I dont approve of how they go about collecting it, with all the threats and crap, but they are a legit collection company.

I was on http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/ for their free TV programs - but recently I get some pop-ups from Norton AV informing me that my computer is infected and I need to call a free number for support.   However 1-855-288-2270 is not Norton.  However you are unable to close that window .  You need to open program manager and manually shut down what ever explorer you are using.
