This is the Michael Drake or DM Associates or Drake and McKannon law firm scam.  They are losers with assorted scams.  See posts under  855-217-9288 and 888-255-6597.  Do not call them back and do not give them any info or any money.

Drake and McKannon law firm have an F with the BBB!  They have failed to respond to BBB complaints.  Listed as Baltimore, MD with no street address.  Ignore any calls from these morons.

I got the same call with the same message.

They just called our place of business and stated that if we didn't call the number back and provide our social security number that they would sue us... funny because businesses don't have social security numbers.. idiot.. it's a scam!

I received a recording yesterday (I didn't pick up) from 1-855-288-5580 but the first part didn't record. What I heard said that I had to contact them with my SSN or else the "country" would move forward with proceedings against me!

Its a scam.

Complete scare BS...i decided before i call this back i would check around...complete BS Scare Tactic.  They don't even identify themselves, so it is clear harassment. Any real complaint or issue would say up from who they are.

Fake Number, False people be ware they want to screw you, do NOT give them nothing, they are fraud peoples doing Nothing, they just want Money and Personal Info, DO NOT Provide them Nothing. !

wrong number - made an accusation about prosecuting someone - told me to get the rocks out of my mouth when I rejected the call.

The number came up.associated with summons and complaints. They said I needed to.call back immediately. . Any company actually issuing legal papers against you will not leave a message for you.to call back. but rather they will send a court employee to serve the papers to you. Scam.

I called the number and the person did not identify who he was, just started asking me a bunch of questions, I told him that he had the wrong number I hung up and he calle dby from another saying that is why I'm going to court

Yep. It's a SCAM. They want personal info, including SSN and payment. Total BS. Do not pick up.

Thats soo crazy....I live in Ca there are alot of scammers out there my advice ignore or confront and ask for proof of debt if the try to double talk you know its fraud by law any debt collectors have to show proof that you owe...even if they say its something from past still.....I learned hard way these people tried to collect a debt I already paid...these people make me sick!!

Received a message staying that I had to call this number.  Tried looking them up, nothing came up.  Total scam!

Just got the same call on my cell phone. That would be a federal crime. Maybe I should send them back the favor.

Received a call from 855-288-5580.  Answering machine picked up and man started talking as the machine was saying no one was available to accept the call.  Part I heard said they had our S.S. # and if I did not call back within 72 hours, legal proceedings would move forward.

I just got the same exact call.

This is Drake & McCannon Law firm.  Michael Drake, Esq.  Called us today stating that we owe money in bounced payday checks from B of A.  Said that he had the last four of our ssn.  Tried to scare us & family into making pymt.  Did not state who payday client was.  Guy was a total ass to my husband!  Do not respond to these crooks in any way!  Especially DO NOT  GIVE SSN, BANK ACCT, CREDIT CARD, ETC!!!

The barely visible link at the bottom, "A Summary of Your Rights," comes up 404!  

And the "Contact Us" link has no address!
