- Regina| 14 repliesGot a call from this number demanding that my mother get on the phone and talk to them. The man stated that she had a case filed against her and that he was an hour away from arriving at our house to serve the papers and that if she did not call this number they would have to go through with it and she would lose the only chance to save herself from whatever demise may happen for not calling the 855-292-7934 number. He also stated she was in danger of losing her job and going to jail. Little did he know that mymother didn't have a job at the time when he called us. He was very demanding and even though I hung up on him about 10 times or didn't answer the phone he continued to relentlessly call back every time. I hung up immediately after picking the phone up or just hit the ignore button. He kept calling. Well, the man that was an hour away never arrived and 2 weeks later here we go again with these damn calls. How do I make it stop aside from changing my number? Please let me know.

Don't you think people would find your post suspicious since the thread is less than a day old and your vague response provides no details other than a dubious claim. You wouldn't be someone associated with this number planting false information online to deceive consumers, would you?

- robert mccarthyI also post as joseph carty; not very imaginative of me but hey...what do expect...I did not even graduate high school. You guys are cutting into my business by exposing my shill tactics and my obvious attempt to extort money from the less sophisticated. So stop it. I want a new car. My 1993 chevy is going to blow up on me any day now. You do not want that on your conscience do you? So be nice to me. I need money and I do not know any other way to get it except to steal it.
- CindyReceived a call from 1-855-292-7834 yesterday 9/24/14 & they demanded my SSN# (I didn't give it to them) I stated I had filed bankruptcy so whatever they are trying to collect they couldn't. A lady screamed & said they don't follow bankruptcy rules & to pay up, but wouldn't tell me what company was demanding money. I just hung up the phone so they called me 10mins later back to back until I blocked them on my iPhone. I love that feature.

- yef replies to robert mccarthyA very appropriate "typo" ... "and noT im paying for it big time". The only thing you'll be paying for big time is karma when it comes back to bite you for being a lying scammer shill.
- Resident47 replies to robert mccarthyYou obviously wish to obscure how bogus debt collectors work, by making ridiculous threats of arrest, process service, and asset seizure, then claiming that only by paying a stranger on the phone can the victim be rescued from phantom "arbitrators", "assessment specialists", "detectives", "investigators", "mediators", "mitigators", or "prelitigation specialists".
- CWG40 replies to joseph cartyOK. Fine. Now. Want to tell us:
1. Name of Plaintiff

3. Attorneys for the two parties
4. Date case was filed
5. Case number

- CJ| 1 replyHave been getting threatening calls since May. They stopped for a few months and today were back at it in full force. They called my work looking for address so they could come to serve me legal paperwork, apparently due to a loan I took out (which I do not have record of). After arguing with Anthony about how I didn't owe this...I told him to serve me and hung up. I called my local police department who tried to contact them but just kept getting their voicemail. Officer tried to research company name and phone number and cannot find anything on them. He said the phone number is untraceable so they could be calling from anywhere. Of all the times they have threatened me, they have never showed up to my home or work. They have called my mom and sister and I'm not sure how they got those numbers. I'm saving every message and documenting every phone call. They refuse to give me their address saying that they cannot give that information out as it is a threat to their employees. Back in May when they first started I asked them to mail me a validation letter of the debt and if I owe I'd be happy to mail them back a cashier's check. They also refused saying they have sent me letters (never got any) and that my time is up. They would only accept a payment over the phone or Moneygram/Green Dot card. I told him today that I REFUSE To pay on a loan that I do not have any proof I took out and on top of that....to pay a stranger who won't even give me their company or address. He said Good Luck and hung up.
