First time call from this number.

Spam text from 313131 said to call this number, saying they were from BECU. My husband and I got texts simultaneously, despite neither of us having any accounts whatsoever at BECU.

Call BECU text. They contact me via email as set in my preferences.
Assume it's SPAM.

Got home call and cell text... Definitely scam. Be careful if you have Boeing credit accounts... Don't call back. Don't give any info.

So just for fun, I called the number from the work phone, and it is the scammiest scam that ever scammed. In the worst robot voice ever, it told me that my BECU debit MasterCard was locked, and I would need to enter the card number to unlock it. So tell your overly frightened relatives that this is most definitely a scam.

Received this text as well. Someone is also hacking my hotmail account.

My boyfriend got a text from this number, saying it was BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union). He doesn't have an account, but I do. BECU doesn't have his number, and they would never contact me this way. It's a phishing scam for BECU customers.

Just wondering if any of you being called also was part of recent premera/ blue cross hacking?

Just received (4.3.15 0940hrs) TXT from 313131 (855-296-0269) asking to call this number. When called the automated message would tell you that your card is locked.(this appears to be a recording of an actual message from BECU). Then an automated male voice(has an African accent) ask you to enter your card number and all details in it. I found that this phone number is not associated with BECU.

We were part of the hack, but not with these phone numbers.

I googled that number and it is clearly not BECU.
I then called BECU directly and they said they have gotten an influx of these calls in the last hour and that it is definitely a scam and that their security team is taking a look at it. You should be safe as long as you did not call and provide any information to that number.

Remember... NEVER follow links, or call numbers, that you are sent via text from unknown numbers.
This is called "fishing" and you will be asked to provide all kinds of information that they will then use to steal your identity.

When in doubt, call the phone number listed on a business's trusted website and check with them directly. This is the best way to protect your self.

Got a text to call this number (From BECU).  I don't have accounts at BECU, so haven't called.  Can only imagine what scam this must be!  Probably charge my cell phone some arbitrary dollar amount.  DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER!

100% Scam. Have Eastside Seattle phone number but never heard of BECU until receiving this phishing text and finding this page.

got this text about 30 minutes ago.  Don't have mastercard.  Called my wife.  she was texted also.
