my boyfriend was getting calls from this number 5 times a day! Now they somehow have MY number & are calling me about him!! He doesnt owe anybody anything so how can I/we make this stop???

These ppl called me and threaten to put me in jail, get my license taken away, put liens against my home and car, and claimed I owed money to them. They wanted me to deposit money into a Chase bank account THE NEXT MORNING. They never gave the name of their company or the company address and had information about me but was all public information that anybody could look up. It was a female and a male. IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REPORT THEM TO THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Just use "Call Blocker" on your Android-based SmartPhone.  Add this number to the blocked call list. Game, Set, Match.

No Message...Comes up Cambodia...Probably a SCAM

I get 2 calls a day with no messages ever from this number. I wish i-Phone would embrace the Droid's "call blocker" system.

These tactics are against the law even if you owe them money or are trying to collect for someone else.

They just called me and asked for my correct address and gave RMBC?  When I asked what that was he said he would tell me when I verified my info. I said I'm not giving you info when I don't know what or who you are. He said OK and hung up.

You can put a block on the number on your IPHONE as well. I have been getting calls from this number recently and no name appears and they never leave a message.

Stop the scam

Received calls from this number the past couple of days. They never leave a VM.

They NEVER leave a message.  

Another call. I had them on my blocked list but this time the number came up with a "+" sign in front. This made it look like a different number and it wasn't caught by my call block.  These people will go to any length.

This company is called ANC or AMC Collections. I know because they called me. They did not leave a message but i got their number from my caller ID.

I got a call from these people and they left no message. I do not pick up from unknown numbers, especially ones that have an 8xx. They are too often part of the 800 group and not really calling for me. They are trolling for phone numbers that are legit and trying to gain info for their companies to sell. How do I know that it isn't a legit collection agency? Because I own my home, cars, etc outright. No medical bills as I pay immediately at the office. No credit cards to worry about because I don't have them. The only reoccurring bills I have are verizon- paid automatically, utilities-also paid automatically, and auto insurance- paid quarterly. I plan to teach my young kids the joy of being debt free and living within their means. Plus it makes it easy to know when someone is trying to scam you, like these people. Don't answer the phone if you don't know who it is! Look up the number and if it is legit take care of it and move on. Resist making more stress and creating a problem by not giving into the scammers phone calls. Block them, ignore them, whatever you need to do. But don't give them a clue that you have a working number. They will hound you to get your info so they can pass it on and use it. Hate users!
