I keep getting messages for some woman from Forensic Check Services at this number.  I tried to call back and there was just weird static.

I've contacted FCI regarding this number and a guy name "John Hess" that called requesting my credit card information and they have no records of a John Hess with their company....
They said it is believed to be a fraudulent number attempting to collect money and urged me to contact local authorities and file a police report, so I did....
I advise you all to do the same!!!

I have no idea who this is but they tried to sound professional even down to an account number. I hope they rot in hell waiting for me to call them back.

I don't know but they keep calling

I too received a call from this collection agency.  They are a ligitimate agency that purchases pay day loan debts over a certain period of time if the pay day agency can't collect on the debt themselves.  I'm sure all records they have are electronic and probably not accurate as mine was not!  Google the name and you will see.

Thanks for the opportunity to review your  potential claims regarding the harassment you are experiencing from Forensic Check Systems.  We have had many inquiries similar to yours regarding this company and/or others just like it.  We have done some investigating into these companies as well.

While there is no doubt that this collector violated federal laws in many ways, we are sure that this collection agency is pretty much a sham operation.  There is no real corporate headquarters, no real business structure, and no location where a corporate officer can be located.  All addresses we have located have been either a post office box, a UPS store, or some other location that does not house the business.  In short, this may be a scam.  Certainly, in our experience, none of the threats made to people about arrests, warrants, or sheriff’s on their way have come to fruition.

Given that there is no chance to find a company to seek compensation for these violations, we will not be taking on representation of this case. However, I do want to provide you the parting advice that you should not make any payment to this agency or provide them any personal information or bank account information.  It is likely that it would only be used for improper or illegal purposes.  Moreover, any threats made to have you arrested or take you away are completely bogus.  Nobody is coming to get you and you are surely not going to be arrested for this debt.

It has been our experience that a very aggressive response by you tends to make them stop calling.  Once you make it abundantly clear that they will not be seeing one cent from you no matter what they say, they will eventually give up and move on to someone more gullible.

If another collection agency calls you regarding this particular debt, please let me know as soon as possible and before agreeing on making any payment of the debt.

I keep getting calls and messages from this number.  They are always pre-recorded and seem to be half way through the message when I pick up or the answering machine picks up.  They have ranged from Employment Verification to Collections to Forensic Check Services to the FBI has blah blah blah.  I don't understand the point?

I talked to Inspector Steve Calahan today who said if I didn't pay so much by the end of the month, they were going to file civil and criminal charges against me in Tom Green County District Court. They asked for a debit card number to hold until the end of the month so they could get payment. I gave them the number of a prepaid card I had got in the mail. It has not even been activated. I learned my lesson before when this happened to me. It is a scam. When I stopped paying the last one, they never did anything to me.

This is a debt collector that makes threats of civil and criminal action, but they made it toward me and the debt is an employee that works for my company.  I am not responsible for this debt and requested they take my company's number off their call registry.  They said they wouldn't.

This company calls me many times every day.  They always leave threatening messages since I do not answer their calls.  These people buy old accounts that are outdated from others and then try to collect what they can.  What they collect is theirs.  I think THEY should be arrested for using the scare tactics and threatening to arrest people for a civil matter.  I got sick of them calling and blocked my number and called back and the person I talked to would not give me any info on the debt.  They wanted to verify my information first.  I told them I was not verifying anything and that if they were legit they would tell me what they were calling about and that I had done nothing for anyone to get a warrant for me and to stop calling and that if they would supply me with their address I would send them a certified demand letter stating same.  Of course, they would not give me their info and hung up on me.

I just called from a blocked number, & got the recording the number had been disconnected.

I'm trying to nip this in the bud. After receiving numerous harassing calls from this number. I HAD their number blocked from my phone. Finally making an attempt to resolve this matter. I called them and tried to gather an legitimate physical address to resolve this issue. Some guy answered and WOULDN'T GIVE ME A PHYSICAL ADDRESS.  He mentioned about getting a prepaid card and see if I get the money from a friend.

I been receiving phone calls from these people so I called back and left a message. Somebody called me back but the number came up as restricted. I talked to one of their representatives and I was going to make the payments, however, the lady said she was going to email me the statement that we agreed on and plus mail me a statement. However, I never even received those and I don't plan on paying until I get the documents.

I have, and continue to receive numerous calls from 855-305-5110 & 877-318-5617.  They are basically doing the same thing, saying they want to verify my address, in which I DO NOT give them, the latter # says they're gonna serve papers at my home and place of employment, which any idiot knows that you get one or the other NOT BOTH, and the 1st # leaves msg stating that they have returned checks on me, which I KNOW is a lie because I haven't had a checking acct in my name in over 2 years.  All this to say it is MOST DEFINITELY A SCAM.  If they will ever return my calls, I will inform them that this is their notification that they will be receiving papers for the motion I have filed for harassment against their respectful companies.  If that doesn't stop the calls, then I'll follow thru with the threat!!!

My mother received several calls today from a gentlemen and was very rude and beligerant towards her.  This is most definately a SCAM!!!!!.  A real collection company does not tell another party about your information or that they are going to arrest you to that person.  I have filed a complaint with the local authorities concerning this FCS company.  Do not give them any of your information or pay them any money.  Report them to the Attorney General Office and the FTC.  

This is a total scam. I was one of the gullible ones and actually gave them 275.00. John Hess made a ton of threats calling me on my cell and eventually my work phone number. It wasn't until after the fact that I paid the money and then went to reverse the payment that I realized it was all fraudulent. Even tried calling the numbers that were given to me at the time and they were disconnected days after the payment was made. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!

This number has called my cell phone every day since February 10 at different times; the earliest is 9:00 AM to the latest of 7:08 PM.  The messages received started out "This is Forensic Check Services calling you about a returned check....blah, blah, blah...and always ends with please call 855-305-5110 and refer to case #112197 and hangs up".  Today of course I received a call at 3:55 PM but instead of the customary message I received a totally different one:

"This notice is intended for_______ your payment placed on file to secure a stop order has come back as a stolen card with strict instructions for immediate pick up, your recorded authorization has been pulled and reviewed and instructions to escalate your claim has been ordered.  If there is a misunderstanding pertaining to your method of payment, we request an immediate response, if you provide no response all new evidence will be submitted and your file will be expedited for further action.  Contact my office at 855-305-5110 and refer to file #112197.  Thank you"

What is so annoying to me is that number keeps calling my cell phone, states my name, and leaves me these types of messages.  I listened to the message and you can tell that it is a pre-recorded message because it starts out as "pertaining to your payment method"...and then goes on to..."This notice is intended for..."  I know that this is an S-C-A-M!!! Because (1) I have never did a STOP PAYMENT and (2) Who in their right mind would request you to pick up a STOLEN card...any person in their right mind would have report the theft to the proper authorities, and had the cards cancelled.  

I do not answer this number I send it straight to my voice mail...I feel that if I don't answer them then they cannot pressure me to (1) give them ammunition, (2) threaten me but most importantly I want them to get the message and stop calling my cell phone!!  I mean seriously you have called for 40 straight days, if I HAVE NOT answered your call and you never heard a live voice then you should take the hint and delete the phone number and stop calling.  If you are that stupid then why not send the authorities to my house like you previously stated back in February.  Furthermore, why not change the file number it is the same number, all that tells me is that is the number that you have assigned to my name for whenever I call you back.  KEEP WAITING ON IT!!!!!  

Please everyone DO NOT, I repeat...DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK OR ANSWER THE PHONE CALL...IT IS A SCAM!!!!
