Mortgage company robo call asking for personal information and zip code.  Mortgage company does not have any messages waiting for me in the portal, must be a scam or a sleazy telemarketing company or phone phihing scam.

I received a call from this number and would like to report this...
The call kept making my cell phone freeze up.

Call from Nationstar.... BofA recently sold my mortgage to them. Stated they needed to speak with me about account status.  Same as above, wanted name & zip code - this is when I hung up.

I received a call from 888-811-5279 ASKING me to call 855-313-0994.  A robotic message told me I had 24hrs to call it back regarding my account status.  It also gave me a "personal message code" that it asked me to call.  After some investigation, it turns out these #s are a scam!! Do not call. Call your bank instead

Called my work left message would leave no info

I have been receiving these calls for the last 3 months or so. There is a recorded message that I need to call within 24 hours. It is about a NationStar mortgage. I too hang up when they begin to ask for personal information. And, the number they call from and the number they ask me to call are those mentioned by ken.

Same recorded message asking for checking or payment info. Seemed legit as I just paid my balance but seems fishy.

Don't call back. They are NOT from nationstar

Just received call today asking for personal info.  I had no idea what kind of company it was and when I asked they would not tell me.  When they told me I was required to give them the info I asked to speak to a supervisor and they denied me the opportunity.  Let's just say the call ended in a " pound sand " followed by a hang up!

I have a mortgage with Nationstar and called them at the number on their website and asked about this and she had no record of the 855-313-0994 number. My account is current and in good standing...no reason for a "must call back in 24 hours" type phone call.

Must be a scam. Don't answer or give any info. If you have questions call the company direct at a known good number.

Received 2 calls over the weekend from this #, also asking to call it back and use personal message codes. How can I stop this???

Same experience as the others listed here. Got a call from 855-313-0994, complete with 'personal message code' and 24 hr reply request. (Did not )***scam*** Note: this 855 number is not on the Nationstar website

I too received this call & when I returned the call-entered the message "code" there wasn't a message - it went into Spanish. I then re-called @ another # they gave [888-811-5279] & it asked for my 9-digit Social..I hung up at this point. Do not call back!

Confirming - same scenario - says from nationstar.  My account was just recently transferred there so Nationstar must have a data leak to these people!!

called my work phone, says from Nationstar Mortgage need me to respond in 24 hours with personal number. Looked at these posts & decided not to respond. Don't know how they got my work # but it pisses me off!

Same as tim above. called my work phone and left same exact message.  Thankful for everyone helping to report the same issue so i know not to waste my time calling them back!

Seems to me the better question is how did they get my work number with me just happening to have a Nationstar mortgage?  The only company I've ever given my work number to is Nationstar???

Just got a call the same message from the exact number. I recently checked the NationStar website, and I saw not one detail of this phone number being used by NationStar themselves.  Either delete the message or report it.
