Received a phone call from this company about a bad check from Bank of America.  They want me to pay or make arrangements; if not, my license will be taken away.

Total scam.  You can't have your license taken away for an alleged "bad check"

got the same call just called the number back and its an automated system what the heck

I got a call from this number also. Its an automated system and gives me no information on the company. I'm starting to think its a scam.

Got a call at midnight from this phone number.   Called back and its an automated system sounds like a scam.

These people left a message on my in-laws answering machine stating my social security number and saying if I did not call by 5pm they would put out a federal arrest warrant on me. Whoops. Missed the deadline.:(

got a call from a joseph cannon his number is 678-292-5502 who says he works for check systems and he is an investigator with them, he said i have done a check fraud and will file papers with the court against me unless i settle the bill, i asked for a number to call for the company and he gave me 2 numbers - 855-313-4518 and 817-778-4166, while he is talking to me everytime i ask him a question he has to pause and seems like he is asking someone else then comes back to me, i also asked for a supervisor and he said he is doing this for the company but wont give me a name.

Same call from joseph Cannon. these people from Check systems ( don;t be confused by the correct Chex system). they are scammers!!! They will call from a lot of different numbers.

Got a message from this number yesterday threatening to have my license revoked and put a warrant out for my arrest if I did not settle my debt.  Pretty sure they are just scammers.

Received a voicemail saying "this message serves as a notification of an affidavit of fraud that was positioned thru the national instatute of justice, the retainer has been placed on sjy investigations. A pick up citation has been issued for all involved parties, along with a revocation of license, to contact..." Then this 855-313-4518 number.

Received the same message as Ja above "this message serves as a notification of an affidavit of fraud....blah, blah, blah SJY LLC (or SYJ LLC) investigations has been retained, blah, blah.." with  855-313-4518 as the call back number.  I tried the number and actually had a live voice on the other end (imagine my shock and surprise, lol) but I disconnected before speaking because I knew it was a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

These idiots didn't call ME but a friend of mine to say that there was a warrant out for my arrest.  Guess they haven't read up on the FDCPA because that is so totally illegal it's not even funny.  I called the number back and got a recording.  You don't want to know what message I left.  A**h***s.

Got the same call, first it was a 855 number now she called from a 410 number.. states she is with the department of justice.. um they r in dc so y u callin from a MD number.

I called the number at 10 am central time got a person who transfered me to an investigator then he tramsfered me to a woman who was conatantly putting me on hold to consult the lawyer they gave me a ridiculous sum then gave me 3 hours to pay or i wud be arrested called my bamk they said i did not owethem
