"Emergency call from Microsoft, etc."  Bull!  Microsoft does not do that.  Windows licenses do not expire.  This scam is too obvious!

Received 3 recorded calls from this # within the span of an hour, yesterday.  Same message as noted above on other entries.  You are told that your windows system will be shut off (since the version you are using has expired),.  You are asked to call a phone # to address the issue.  It is amazing how much of this bull s@#t has proliferated just over the last decade. Fake, criminal, scam calls seems to have become the norm if you own a landline (let alone the increase on cell phones).  As if that wasn't bad enough........ even legit businesses and charities can (and many times do) harass folks with never ending phone calls (even after you ask them nicely to stop).  Sorry, had to vent........ the problem is not just an offshore enterprise.  There are plenty of folks right here at home with the same intent and behavior.

Irritating scammers.  I've been called six times since yesterday. I'd like to launch some phone spiders up the phone line and right up their orifices. Spiders with big, sharp fangs and a foul disposition...

Call got through my filter.  When I called the number it said "Support."
then gave me this number 800-667-6915.  Someone immediately answered and said, "Microsoft."
Then, I knew it was a scam.  They don't answer that quickly.

Same stuff: a computerized voice saying that 'your Windows license is expiring and all services will be stopped', and giving a call back number of 800-390-2435.  They called twice - TWO MINUTES apart.

FYI: the news this morning (3-24-17) had a report that consumers receive over 2.4 billion (yep-with a 'B') scam calls a month.  And the FCC is about to (!) issue new regulations which would allow your telephone company to block calls from fraudulent numbers!  Only about five years too late.

Calls twice in a row and leaves a recorded msg both times.   "All services on your microsoft windows will be stopped.  To reinstall call (an 800 # different from the calling #)". j Very annoying that they call twice AND leave a msg every time they call.  I will be blocking this one.
