I received a call, it was a wrong # but it came across my cell phone as 714-453-1919 and the guy was from the law office of argent delgado and wanted a return call to 855-330-1386.  It's probably one of  those threatening law offices that call you because they bought a debt from a collection agency.

Received a call from R J Salgado-- about a legal complaint filed.  Did not return the call. Can't be ligitimate!

Same guy called me about 30 minutes ago. Said a complaint was filed in his office and a return call is required due to the severity of the issue. Yeah right!

Received a voicemail from "RJ Delgado Law Firm", stating a complaint had been filed and that I needed to return the call immediately.  Call back number left was 855-330-1386, however my caller-id identified the call as coming from 714-453-1919.  No doubt a scam of some kind.  I did not call back.  Recommend you do not either.

Please do not call this number any longer.    The person you are looking for does not live here.

Recieved a call from this number saying it is important to give them a call back. The call came from (714-453-1913. I googled their name and found out their trying to contact people with some sort of scam.

Received a call from this number saying they had some papers for me to sign in regards to a legal matter but they need me to call 855-330-1386 give them a file number and make sure I gave them my address because they did not have it on file.Yeah right what planet do you think I came from. This has scam all over it. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Received 2 calls and 2nd one was not very nice.  Thanks to this page I know it's a scam.  Especially since RJ Delgado is not listed at an attorney in TX.  THANK YOU!

I got a call from 714-453-1927, come to find out they were looking for my Uncle, but had my address and phone number, but also had my aunts address. I thought this was somewhat....WEIRD considering my Uncle has NEVER lived with me. Thank you guys for these post. I don't think I will be having my Uncle return their phone calls after all, and I don't think they will like what o have to say.....

Some prick has to be distributing my number around to these herpes of society.  I re-submitted my name to the Do Not Call List a couple of months ago but the calls haven't stopped, though they have become fewer.  Used to be up to 10 or more a day.
  On this call someone calling themselves Mr. Williams(?) said to call back on an important legal matter.  Being a good, law abiding citizen ( just a few fractures here and there!) I highly doubted it as I haven't been caught in a long time. ;>)  Just kidding...or am I?  LOL!  Anyhoo, this is really annoying, especially after re-registering on the DNC List and giving it the requested 31 days to get distributed.
  Does anyone else have the same suspicion as I do that some of these companies are using the DNC List as a source for numbers to call?
  Everyone should pester their DC representatives and senators to give the DNC List some punitive authority.  I say 50 lashes in the town square when they catch one of these pricks and a $50.00 compensation for each call to each complaining victim of the calls.  OK, OK..a hundred lashes so we're not seen as being soft on such ill mannered and criminal behaviors.  Am I serious? Hell Yeah!

I forgot to say, demand your DC people make this kind of soliciting ILLEGAL, period!

These people just called my cell and my place of employment. I threatened to have my legal representation contact them and he said "sure thing, have them do that". Yeah, right. Then when I requested they remove me from their calling list he became very angry and started yelling at me. I told him that he should "Google" who he is claiming to represent and acted as if he didn't know what "Google" was. I then hung up on him.

same this ,these people are calling my phone and other family members saying they represent delgatto ,she says her name is Miss Calmocot . she says that there has been a civil suit filed against me ,they are located in california . well I don't live in Ca.  .this is some kind of scam and I want them to stop calling my phone

I received a call about a debt that went through Bankruptcy 9 years ago! They threatened legal action. SCAM! Don"t call 855-332-1386 OR 714-453-1916. They are Phishing or trying to get a gullible person to send them some money.

i  called this people because they left a message on my v/m from a mr sanders, apparently it's a legal company that buys charged off debt from banks like chase, bofa, citi bank. anyway i did owe $3,200 on a citi bank card from 3 years ago that i stopped paying, they offered me a settlement for $800, i paid it and sure enought they did as they promised, they sent me an agreement with the terms of the settlement and they updated my credit as paid in full not just settled, i'm glad i called them. if you're getting calls from this peiple  it's because they bought one of your debts that you stopped paying, be a responsible person and take care of your bills. this is what's wrong with us as americans we get a credit card , run up the balance and then stop paying for whatever reason. that's why i'm on a cash only budget. i learned from my mistakes.

ALWAYS record their calls. Log their calls. Tell them you are recording immediately when you answer the phone. If they object tell them they can end the conversation, otherwise they WILL be recorded. If they are calling the wrong number tell them you will file complaints with their attorney general, your attorney general and the FTC. Demand their physical address to send a certified cease and desist letter. Google it to make sure it is a correct address. Send the letter. If they call again sue them for a FDCPA violation. If they claim you have a debt DEMAND a letter of validation be sent through the MAIL. If the debt is beyond the statute of limitations do not pay it. Research the FDCPA ans sue for each and every violation. You can make a few bucks on their violations of the law. Be civil, but do not let them talk over you. Yell over them if necessary. Remember RECORD their calls :).

So here is my question to you, charged off I exactly that charged off. They can't call and threaten to take you to court, this one guy told me that me that he wuld have my county serve me. Well if bank of america didn't have my county serve me then who is suppose to be.
