supposedly comcast calling to confirm appt

This is Comcast. They called to confirm an appointment. They will not leave messages though, which is annoying.

It is COMCAST confirming a install or service call..........

It is Comcast comfirming a scheduled appointment.  They don't leave a message because they want you to confirm someone will be there when they come (or you need to reschedule or there is no problem anymore).

Comcast - reminder about service call.

The recorded voice says it is Comcast confirming at appointment, but I didn't have an appointment. Could be some kind of scam. Caller ID just says "toll free call."

got a call from this number, no message. I do not have Comcast.

Can't be Comcast calling to confirm anything....not available in our area!!! Went to machine, they hung up w/o leaving a message. GRRR why do I even bother trying to get on Do Not Call lists??

Called to confirm an appointment for later in the day.  If you're expecting a service appointment later in the day, you need to answer and confirm.  If you don't answer, they could cancel the appointment and then you'll without whichever service is messing up at your house until you set up another appointment.

I do not have and have never had a Comcast account.  They call me 20 times a day!!!

Same here.  No appointment.  Glad I didn't answer😀
