She said that she was a lawyer and that someone had filed a complaint against me last year and she needed to file papers to me as of today.

She called and said she needed to talk to my adult daughter who had a summons that needed to be resolved.  Sounded fishy.  When my daughter called this number she said that my daughter owed money from a cell phone she may or may not of had eight years ago. Doesn't sound right, how come she didn't get any bill from this company previously?

She called from a different number, but gave this number for my daughter to call. She said she was from a locator company, (whatever that means). When my daughter called, she also mentioned a summons, that would be sent if she didn't pay an eight year old cell phone bill now. Naturally, who would remember a bill from eight years ago. I advised my daughter to have her send the summons.
