the caller said they were either with Fox Interprise or calling for them trying to collect a debt from b4 2011 7 if they had to sue me I would have to pay court cost, etc., I said I don't know what the hell your talking about but go ahead, you can't sue someone on SSI, the more I thought about it the more I think it's a scam??

They left a message asking about someone named Jessica Chavez -- did I know the whereabouts of this person.  They also said there would be follow-up paperwork filed with the county court.  The voice sounded distorted, like a bad recording. I have no idea who this person is, but I received the same message 2 days ago from a different number, 855-353-4946, so I know this is a scam.

Bad recording asking if I know the whereabouts of a relative that died some years ago, stating that they are following up on a complaint, and ask me to hit any button to leave message for county court. Obviously a scam.

Said they had a formal complaint against my husband I called back and the person hung up on me and said they wouldn't tell me who they were so I will just blow it off

They call and leave a voice mail for someone I don't even know and say they are filing a formal complaint about them and that they need to find this person or they will file papers at the local courts.  Sounds like it may be someone trying to get personal information or money from you.  Definitely a scam.

Clearly another scam -  and same as above a distorted voice.  This number calls multiple times even though it is blocked.

Formal complaint call with this number attached to it.  You can't hear who they're looking for, that is being bleeped out.  Just annoying every morning at 9am and now coming in twice a day.

Same here today...looking for my sister who lives in anotber state but calling from a different state and got upset when i asked why he is calling frpm Georgia. No name. Just that a complaint has been filed against her and if she doesnt respond it will be filed with (bleeped out) county.

My mother and i both got a call looking for my sister saying a complaint has been filed against her and if she didnt call back they would file with a county that was bleeped out. Guy was a jerk when i was questioning him and wouldn't give me info. Scam

they called me and my brother about a online payday from fox enterprise. they known mine old bank account and said it back in 2012. i known a scram. they say they see me court and i just laugh. and if they still call me they will be report to the FBI. so back off

They called me today asking me my name and that I had  a bank account with Bank of America they were debt collectors if I didn't pay they were going to sue me I think it's a scam somebody need to report them

Yes I got a phone call from that number this evening they were saying they were debt collectors trying to collect a debt and if I didn't pay they were going to sue me I think it's a scam police need to look into this

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.  Tell 'em  no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.

I got q call well rather my mom did on her phone giving my name stating there was a formal complaint against me an trying to tell me that they have. Collections against me and that the company is there to collect a debt such as child support or bad check or collections ha ha I'm not stupid I told him and that I was reporting them and the phone number to FBI and police he hung up immediately.

Well I see I am not the only one who has fallen into this spam attack. Stating they are filing criminal charges on a debt back in 2016.  Asked information on debt or company money is owed to. Never would advise me. Asked who they are I was told their company name is Western. Nothing more.  Attempt  to locate company name nothing was found.  Played they threat game advied them they are fire and gave verbal order to stop hazarding family members civil law will be filed along with criminal complaint on their threat tactics.

Similar to other posts on this site. Garbled message says looking for " the whereabouts of Donald Hughes" and the caller will be "filing the necessary paperwork in a few days." I will not call them back. I have no debts and I don't know anyone named Donald Hughes.

^ THIS, people. Seriously. I'm seriously in awe at how many people whip out their credit cards with no proof, no recollection of the debt and not even verifying who's calling them. Always ALWAYS ask for proof and especially ask for it to be mailed to the address that they have on file. Otherwise, they can go to h***.
