Is it 909-456-1879?  Is it 805-798-6617?  Is it 855-339-4451?  All these numbers are claimed by the caller or sourced by caller ID to the same caller.  The caller will also call from an id blocked line.  The claim is to be available for service of a subpena, or a summon to appear in court.  A case file number is posited - read over the phone - but no such case file exists upon a search.   When the caller calls, he/she is always a different person - it is always changes - the purpose of the calls are to request verification of private and personal data - most of it that is offered is completely incorrect - so this appears to be identity theft mixed with fraudulent activity.  Once claimed to be an officer of the court, another a clerk at a law firm...always claiming to attempt to set up a party [think: victim] to remain available for service of a court.

Good luck out there.  I suggest authorities check these guys out....hurry....they may disconnect soon!

We got a call from this number, which supposedly was a law firm (bunch of people in background making calls hmmm sounds like a scam (telemarketing calls)), and everytime I called I got someone different.  The call I got was mostly the same as watchdog's comment.  We were also given a (fake) case number. Don't fall for this scam!!! Report It Now!!!

Got a call and said he's an "Officer" that dispatches court orders from the "County Servicing Division"  and I had to call 855-339-4451 and give them a case number that they provided because they will serve me a subpoena if I call and verify that they can reach me. WTF?  I relentlessly asked if this guy calling me is really an officer of the county and he said they are dispatchers that the plaintiff calls to make sure I go to court..no other information was given to me. but the phone number.

I received a call from someone who said that I will be served and if i had any questions to call 855 339 4451 and gave me a file# to use as a reference#.  I called the number and asked them who they were and to get more info but they were very vague.  The person on the phone then asked for verification of my personal info, she gave me incorrect information first, trying to phish out my personal info. This is definitely a phishing scam.

A property owner received a message regarding a rental property he has - with information as stated like the others... he was told his tenant was going to be subpoenaed. How did they even get the property owners phone number? This is scary.

These people are calling my family members at home and at work. Telling them they are police officers and would like to subpena me. They have said my court date is coming up and they don't want me to miss it. Scaring my family members into give my phone number. This as been going on for about a year now. The number that was given by these people is 855-339-4451

i received several calls from this company and ignored the calls but soon someone came to my job to have me served and they are now garnishing my wages

Do not believe the scare tactics. This is a huge scam. I hope anyone involved in this crime rots in hell. It is not funny nor is it  "clever" to hurt people. Just a bunch of sick and ignorant people who are too lazy or selfish to make money in a creative or constructive way. They have to lie, steal and cheat to get by. They are using various names and phone numbers.  Don't even waste your time or breath talking to them.

I just googled the address I was given... nothing. My girlfriend who is criminal justice major and wants to be a lawyer and is really good and placing calls lol will call back! I will keep you guys updated!

I just had a long conversation with a Jamie Tierney at 885-339-9698.  When I called I asked for Jada Scott, whom had left the message on my phone.  The initial contact from Ms. Scott eluded to a file number with Fort Bend County in Texas.  I called Fort Bend County.  They had no record of anything pending or filed for me in their offices.  I then called this number back.  I then had a long conversation with a Jamie Tierney at 885-339-9698.  When I called I asked for Jada Scott, whom had left the message on my phone.  It is a company called Consumer Credit Counseling.  They are a typical collection agency.  However, I have an agreement with another collector to clear up this particular dispute.  Ms. Tierney was accommodating and agreed to email me what she had in her records in regard to the debt.  

I mentioned to her that Ms. Scott needed to be counseled on her demeanor when leaving information and to not be as misleading and to definitely not end her message with the term "Good Luck!"  Ms. Tierney seemed genuinely concerned about the manner in which it had been communicated.  I asked to be placed on their do not call list, but was told it had to be sent in writing.  I am submitting it in writing today.
