- Measquite DuroWho are these callers?
- ChavezThese were phone calls from some kind of school situation. The automated message said "to match you with the best school for your study" or something like that. The automated message gives you an option to be placed on the do not call list.

- Tamianth replies to Kristine Levine| 3 replies800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.
Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

- TarrahThis number is creepy. They called me about a week ago. My resume is posted on a couple of sights. A man called me about a
job. It was for some type of leadership position. Dude asked me for my social Security number, Of I said no. Then he called again a week later, after 6:00 pm. What temp agency does that. Ummm nun of them. Work is over at 5:00 pm and they are out
of the office. Why would you call that late? The guy had a thick accent, and I don't even think that call center is in America.
Anyway Blow these people off if they call you.- Caller: Strange Call center
- daisyI continue to get 5-10 calls a day from this number anywhere from 6am till 10 pm. when i do answere they hang up. I have placed this number on my reject call list but sure they will just use another number. If they would speak and tell you who they are and what the hell they want then maybe we caan get somewhere.
- Michelle replies to Tamianth| 2 repliesIt does not matter if someone puts their number on the DNC list. I do that all of the time and constantly telling people to stop calling me and it does not work. People still continues to call and it takes up my time checking voicemails that is only silent. Really? What world are you living in? You must be living in some sort of a bubble that has you living in a perfect world to give advice like you did. The people are annoying and do not say anything when the vm automatically comes on. Half of the time when they do say something, they are so stupid that they do not realize they are talking to vm and continuously asking for me. Really??? They do not realize they are talking to a machine and not a real person. Time wasted!!
- Grandpa Moses replies to MichellePut the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities. You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws. The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

The one that acknowledges criminals and other illegal callers are never going to obey a law of any kind. Honest business's will, but never will a criminal obey the law. That is why they are criminals.. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you really need to learn to read. The advice given by me and all the other regulars here is sound.
The OP demanded the calls stopped, 800 notes is not a call blocking center, nor is it affiliated with any of the scammers, frauds and other criminals that call people. There is nothing we can do short of tell people how to help themselves and the things they can do to help themselves stop the calls. If you don't like it, feel free to use the report button and report our posts.. Its the little ! located to the lower right of the post! Meanwhile, I will continue to help people despite people like yourself that appear to have the time to take people to task for trying to help others. Have a nice night.. - Mimia man from this number called and he sounded indian from india and he was saying about my program at college and if i was interested in transfering to god knows where within the next 6 months
