- Victor| 2 repliesLooks like a scam to me. Left a message on my cell and at my former place of business in a different State where I am not working for 7 years. Message stated some mumbo-jumbo abot "formal complaint filed" and how I need to call immediately to avoid legal action. Yeah, right.
- Mike replies to Victor| 1 replySame as victor, Automated recording of Christine Rogers left some message about formal complaint. If there were a complaint filed, I think they would send some formalized letter instead of a bot to leave some message.
- Victor replies to MikeMost definitely a scam. They called a cell phone number on Midwest and a landline in California. I am not using this landline for 7 years and do not do business in the State of CA for about the same time. The cell phone number is 6 years old. Just some phishing attempt. I blocked the number.
- rickSame as Victor and Mike, sounds like a scam ,they left the same message bot message. going to block the number.

- Morganreceived a msg from Christina Rogers claiming that there was a formal complaint filed against me, and that service of process would be completed at my home or at my active place of employment. Wouldn't identify what company or any information about her or the company. Not giving any info to a scammer
- Caller: Unknown Company
- Call type: Debt collector
- samthey just called me for that same formal complaint, for my deceased father. definite scam.
- DiannaMy daughter received a call from this number, leaving a message about me stating that there was a formal complaint against me. I called the number and spoke with Miss Anderson. She stated that I the judgement was from Cash Door. Never heard of them or borrowed money from then. They had my address which I did not verify and the last 4 of my social. I came home and had a message on my phone from Christine Rogers leaving me a message. This is very upsetting to hear that they have contacted others at their work.

Typical debt scammer message. Always a "complaint". Try to make you think it's somehow a legal complaint or a lawsuit. Simply ignore and block the calls. If a legal action was contemplated against you you'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other side. There'd be a paper trail. No legitimate attorney will cold call you about some sort of debt or pending legal action.
Other sites show similar scam calls. See: https://www.whocalledme.com/PhoneNumber/855-378-6827
They also call from 8554013010 and 8554101191 asl well as 855-378-6827
Havent't been able to find them.
Ignore and block these calls.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.
If they are bothering you, report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.) The same goes for endless telephone harassment
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them. Tell 'em no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.- Caller: Informational post
