company calls and says that they have legal documents ready to be served to you at your home address and leaves this number to call back to ask questions and leave more information

Same here with 855-390-0642.  Had a whole list of numbers for the docs and when we called, they hung up.  We called back and it mysteriously went to voicemail.  Stated papers were filed in the clerk's office.

Its a debt scam..do not call them back or give any info or pay them money over the phone..thats what they want..Good Luck

they called me twice, first time said he was from a courier company and they were going to serve me. Second time he said he was from the county and they needed to serve me again. I asked him where exactly their offices were and he responded with something along the lines of they don't give it out because they don't want a psycho with a short barreled shotgun to go visit them because they don't like that they got served (so dramatic). I laughed out loud and called him a liar and he said " you'll see how serious we are when we serve in later on today". They haven't called back since then. One more thing he said his name was Kenneth Berg.

called me saying they have papers to serve at my address about a person they have reason to believe is a relative  of mine. They named that person, whom I do not know. They said that if they do not receive a cll back tqht they will assume the service is accepted. Said they were from the Clerk's office but did not say what city or county
