Called and hung up.

Let it ring 1 time and hung up.

Rang once and stopped

Is this number a scam that is seeking my personal information?  The voice had a strong accent (maybe Indian).  

No one there when I answered then went to busy signal.

Called asking if previous address was in another state also wanted last four digits of SSN.

There is a high probability that this area code and number are involved involved in the "ring and sting" scam, where--if you return the call out of curiosity--you end up with an astronomical phone bill after a couple of minutes' conversation about a  lawsuit or something similar alleged by the Scammer at the other end, who will rake in the money from you for the worthless conversation.
My phone rang just one time from this number. I will not return the call under any circumstances.

Called and asked for someone who doesn't live here. Asked personal info about him etc. don't know the name of the co. As they wouldn't disclose any info. The number was an 855 # and the guy was Indian.

they call me and wanted same information ,, such as SSN and Addres ,, they said they call from MRS Accosiation,,,

Have been calling everyday around 5 pm. I don't answer and they don't leave a message

Guys its mrs associates a collection agency in nj.. They ask for ssn jst to mk sure if they r on correct line.. Thats for our security purpose.. They collect debt on behalf of cmpanies like at&t... Anser their questions coz these guys also lowers amt on ur acct and also sends a dbt release letter..

They wanted My social society number and address to told them never to call me again he had a strong indian accent  not American Indian but, from that India country

Now thats not right....I work for At&t and thats not how its done at all.

Don't EVER, EVER, EVER give out your personal information over the phone. Ask them WHO they are calling, if they are collecting a legitimate debt they will know you freekin name. Tell them to send you information in the mail. If they are a legitimate debt collector they will have your address on file. Contact the original debtor and see if they sold to debt to these...ah... scu... nice people. Then determine if you better off paying the debt or letting it rot off of your credit report. But never give them anything. Make them give you everything to verify who they really are. Make them send you mail. Make them prove that they now own your debt. Verify it with the company that sold the debt to them.
