Haylee said she was from Main Street, a direct-rate provider and were we overbilled on our Sep and Oct merchant account statements. Wanted me to look at them for rate reductions info. Yeah, right--who would know if they are being overbilled the way merchant card services work?!

Had the same call as Lee from Main Street, but they said they were not a merchant provider, that they wanted to analyze our account to give us something to send to our provider for a refund from being overcharged on the interchange rate in Sep and Oct.  Called our provider and they said it is a scam.

Had the Main Street caller call. They wanted me to  fax my merchant statements and to hold while I did that so they could give me a conformation number after they confirmed that the fax went through.  I put her on hold but did not do the fax. She said her name was Laquita Dodty & her extension = 1317

I am second in command, received a message to call these guys back. Unfortunately I did not think to search the number and ended up faxing a statement with info; contacting Quickbooks now to let them know.
Talked to "Krys" at extension 1317; same line about credit card fees.
They were from Main Street as well.

Visa and MasterCard do not call random merchants about rates! Furthermore the are guesting about your rates to create concern. Nothing wrong in looking at the fees and how you are account is set up.
I have been in the merchant processing business for 23 years and I have heard all kinds of scripts they only want to get statements from you.

Same thing just happened to me.  Once he, "Ryan Davis", told me to fax the statement over with the words PCI Compliance, $19.95 MM, NET EFFECTIVE, attn: Statement Dept,  and to circle the % I am being charged and that he would wait on the line while I did that and he would give me a reference number - at that point I told him we have our own "Compliance" to follow and would get back to him.  His whole attitude changed!  Go figure ;-)  855-409-2669 fax and 855-409-2667 ext 1317 were the numbers given.

I just got this call today and was suspicious so trying to investigate this number.  It was a Kris ext 1417.  She even talked to me this morning and had her call her back when I could look at my statements for Dec and Jan.  We don't even take in any sales in Dec and Jan but when I told her I get a $99.95 yearly charge for PCI Compliance she put me on hold then came back and said I was not mandated to receive that charge and told me to circle it on my statement and write "overcharge" next to it with "TM1417" written and to fax it to 855-409-2669 then she'd call me back with a confirmation number and then her senior analyst would call me back when he works on it.   This is a scam, right?

Have been getting 2-3 calls per day from Josh ext. 1407 regarding the same issues as everyone on this post....I did fax him a statement before I wised up but he called back and said that isn't what he needed and to fax it again. Needless to say, I did not send any other information. I have contacted BOA and they have his name and number to follow up.

Received the same call at 9:39am 02/05/15 .. Gwen wanted me to pull my CC Statements and go over them with me on the phone. I had them available but was not understanding who they were. She did state she was with Main Street and that they were a 3rd party calling merchant account holders to inform them of over charges in Oct. I asked her who my merchant service was provided by and she could not answer and kept saying they are a 3rd party. She left her name, number & ext. 1419.

I will be reporting them to the FCC as a scam, spam, unwanted, unsolicited, etc...

You are given a non-biased report of your fees and charges that you are more than welcome to give to give to your current processor in order to have your rates reduced. You are not forced to make any changes to your current account!

I got a call on 2-13-15 at 11:00am from Lisa Wilson. She called asking me if I could pull our credit card statements from October, November and December of 2014. She said they work with our credit card company. I found it odd that they didn't call me directly since our credit card company has my phone number on file. I asked Lisa if i could get her direct phone number so i could call our credit card processor and verify that I should be giving out any of our information. I called and they said that Main Street is just trying to get our business. Do not give any information to this company.

Received call from Main Street - Keith Allen - x1410. Said our fees caused us not to be compliant. Wanted to review to become compliant.  I said I didn't know who they were and they were not my processing company. SInce I didn't know who he was - I advised that I thought it was a scam and asked to speak to his supervisor - never got transfered.

Call a call from Lisa from Main Street.  She indicated we were over charged on previous monthly statements for credit card processing.  After speaking to her and her asking me to send her reports, I got suspicious.  I told her I would call back.  I spoke to Intuit and they said, they were fishing for information to eventually try and sell to us.  SCAM!
